Hull city won't own the stadium or any part of the development. allam will own it and city will rent it from him

£3,000 for a set of plans for a £120m development, Allams architect must be as good as his credit reference on KR!

Have to admit when I read the bit about £3000 for the plans I did wonder where he'd got these drawn up? Cost me that for a bleeding extension!!!

But shock horror Mr Fudgeull defends the bloke that has given his club £1M as well as sponsoring the East Stand who'd a thunk it



Is anyone going to be suprised this guy is doing alittle bit a mud slinging??? No of course not its all he''s done since he became the chairman of Rovers.

Its good he has seen Allams plans though shame that they haven't yet been shown to HCC.

Should the Allam's be given respect? Yes, as should everyone.
Should they be given recognition for bailing out City? Again, yes.
Should they be [ugiven[/u the KC? No. If they really wanted to do this, the council could borrow against the asset themselves, couldn't they? I assume they can run semi-commercial operations to pay off loans.

Respect is a two way street though and to be honest he has shown little respect himself.

Why should he be given recognition for bailing out City? He chose to do that himself for his own purpose.

What is becoming increasingly annoying is the inference from certain sections and the media that we should all bow down and worship the guy because he's saved Hull City.

If he wants the stadium he should pay the going rate. Then the council could plough the £40m back into our crumbling infrastucture and failing school's.

Why? the money came from KC share's sell off.

But, IIRC for that very reason, it's money made from capital gains (correct term??!!) and could only be spent on capital projects... Nothing to do with the government services. So no highways/schools or funding... But could be used to build a new stadium for Hull KR or something similar!!

Kc money has been ploughed into the councils capital progamme, to what extent i'm unsure but this programme has helped with regen initiatives, school improvements, tansport and disabled facilities grants. So what's the difference with using the KC sell off in the same way. Tbh where there's a will there's a way.

a fair few comments have been removed, it seems HDM don't like facts getting in the way of propganda.

Facts just don't suit their agenda though do they? All the media be it the radio or paper seem to be creaming their pants over Allam's pipe dream. None of them as yet seem bothered that as yet he hasn't submitted any form of costings, plans, safe guards to the amenities already in the area etc. Let alone the fact he wants council to handover the KC to him for ownership so he can borrow against it.

There is a huge difference between a gift to Hull City & Rovers and a gift to the City of Hull, he is not the great philanthropist he is being made out to be.
He seems to have made the mistake of assuming when he bought Hull City it gave him the right to own the KC stadium as that is what I believe was the reasoning behind buying City and when he did in case it became a bun fight when the club went into administration.

Wish the so called journo's would actually do their job for once, can't believe the only one who is sceptical is actually Gwilym (but some of that maybe because of Allams links to Rovers).

Grudgell has just revealed, Allam will inject further cash into HKR.

There's a surprise. He has to do something for them as he's letting us use his stadium and only charging us 10 grand a week

Anyone wishing to improve his standing both with the council and the local populace is doing a great job by clearly doing everything he can to help one rugby team.




Perhaps when he gets his supa dupa meton stadia his mate Hudge will bring his team into the fold ............

This thread would be really worth a good belly laugh, if it wasn't for the fact that similar myopic waffle has held this City back for years.

Slowly the Allams are losing ground as more and more people see through the so called scheme and realise that Hull city's future could be at risk.

Looking at them - it's surprising how many people are scathing about Allam and his Plan. The scales seem to be slipping from a lot of eyes.
