Absolutely. It was frustrating seeing players waltzing past him at the time, but he deserves massive credit for taking the field in the first place.

Havn't read the whole thread yet but just before half time I was looking forward to coming on here and tell you all I told you so.

Shame mistakes just side of halftime killed it for us but with the team we had out was always going to be difficult.

Sadly it looks like we picked up some more injuries too

Like I say, some people will see a problem with it, others won't. I wouldn't ever bet about my team losing heavily, but some obviously will, let's leave it at that.

I think Ellis still has a lot to prove, his kicking game is (generally) SL standard, but his general play still isn't up to scratch, he offers little threat with ball in hand.

With Seymour being injured it looks as though Nicklas will get a chance against Wigan on Sunday.

manu, tickle and lynch look completely fooked. God knows how houghton carries on with his level of performance week in, week out. 2nd half was a bit of a shambles but was never going to win with the players we have out

How you can say Ellis was poor today i don't know. The options to kick at goal were the right ones, as at 2 tries to 4 to them, we were still only 4 points down at 16-20, definitely the correct choice and anyone who went to st helens away would know that.
Lynn was poor but not from the want of trying, supported very well down the middle first half but other than that doesn't look like he'll make it for me.
The mass difference in quality of the benches was the difference for me

I thought he went ok. Made a crucial error for that try, but it was no worse than Seymour's.

He was out of position several times

Dont think the players deserved the booing that you could hear from some areas.

The 12 points they scored in the space of a minute both long range efforts broke our spirit and you could tell we just went into damage limitation mode.

Green and Kent went really well and didnt look out of place at all.

Think Ellis struggled big time and and didnt help Crookes at all who was really exposed when he came on against Cudjoe.

We did well in the first half, however it was always going to be the same story as last w/end with the amount of players we had out in the 2nd half.

He was poor because he did nothing with ball in hand, and both he and Seymour through out some bad passes. He also failed to find touch at a crucial point of the game, which is about as basic as an error you can make.

I am by no means writing him off, he looks a promising talent, but he isn't SL standard just yet.

Thought he did OK. I don't rate him and don't think he has enough to offer, but he did alright today.

Compare him to Eden and there is the difference.

Yeah, the booing was very poor. Everyone was trying, we were just fooked.

There was that but when Wardle scored from the Brown break there was some booing too.

Hudds are very strong, with so many players unavailable, it was always going to be a big ask.
