The half pint of blood running down his face proves he did connect , unfortunately lee continued the tirade, telling him to "come and dance" over and over so put it altogether I think he pretty much talked himself into it im afraid, also his continued agression on his way off the pitch will not help his cause....

and that is the issue in one as much as i hate to say it! I think looking back that Lee was so pumped up to have a big game that his eagerness to dominate their pack single handedly got the better of him , which is to be fair very out of carachter for Lee isnt it

Possibly the fairest outcome would be for the RFL to top up his 70 minutes to a full 80 minutes, thus making it in effect a one match ban. Just start the game on saturday with 12 men and bring Radders on after 10 minutes. Jobs a good en.

I am sure Lee will be regretting his actions which were punishable one way or another however I dont believe he has every been sent off for violent conduct in his 10+ years at top flight (could be wrong!) which suggests the level of provacation probably deserved to be punished as well.

Baileys over reaction after the flare up should be considered along with his cheap shots to the head however any ban Bailey gets would not benefit Hull in the slightest would it?

cant disagree with any of that pal, and yes he is pretty busted up over what happened but he knows the deal and will come back stronger for it.. shame for the lad because he is under no illusion that he let everyone down and would probably say sorry to each one of us personally if he could...

Totally justified? Not a chance. Bailey does it all the time, its why all genuine RL fans think he is a waste of skin (Leeds fans are generally thick so their opinion doesn't count). Radford knows what sort of crap Bailey gets upto and should know better than to get involved. Even if he does feel the need to get involved he should have dragged him to his feet before lamping him then at least I would agree it was only worth a sinbin. Having seen the incident again on TV Bailey should have walked for the attempted head butt on Long and if he doesn't get a ban on Tuesday I wont be surprised but it will be yet more evidence of the RFLs complete lack of balls in dishing out punishments to Leeds players.

Maybe he could have got a referee and promoter involved as well ? Built a proper ring ? Called to the bench for gloves ? Not sure it works like that in the heat of a SL battle tbh.

Radford cost us the match no doubt about it. Someone as experienced as him show know better and have more self-control.

In effect he has almost served a one match ban already and maybe that and his good record will count in his favour but I expect him to get at least one match.

The only good thing is he gave that cowardly thug Bailey a good hiding before he was sent off.

I he doesn't cop a ban too I will be very disappointed.

You must have had a very sheltered upbringing if you think landing a couple of punches on a guy holding a ball in his hands, and attempting to get to his feet constitutes a good hiding.

Apparently Ryan Bailey has been up before the Disciplinary Panel at Red Hall 10 times in the past 12 months and has suffered a total of one fine of £300. The conclusion has to be that either he or his club has friends in high places or he is serial victim of mistaken identity.
