Because the other 11 on the pitch haven't performed like they should. It was 6-0 after 67 minutes so to say you lost the forward battle all night is ridiculous

He's hit form and is more than useful with ball in hand at the minute so get him involved I'd say.

They'll be a point behind us tomorrow despite the Mason and Cockayne fiascos, Dobson and Newton out for stretches and unsettling talk about Morgan going. Green/Dobson > Obst/Horne, IMO.

It may have been 6-0 but only due to our defence. Look at where the game was played, our half. Possession stats for the first half alone was 65-35% and our first set of 6 in their half was after 30 mins.
Watch the game.

We've had no traumas to deal with then? No injuries? No coach issues?
As a pair KR's halves are better, no doubt. But to suggest with them on the pitch we would have won the game is pure fantasy for a poor troll.

No we have not had any traumas, our injuries have been what most teams would expect to deal with and the club are fully supportive of our coach (unfortunately)...No reasons why we should not have produced the goods really.

Apart from the fact Leeds bombed about 6-7 chances and we made 1(ish). Any other night they'd have been 20+ up at half time.

Dobson was injured which affected them badly, likewise with Long. The pressure has been on Agar all season, much more than it has Morgan.
Not saying we should have not produced more as we should have done. I am talking about the comment that had Rovers halves played we would have won the game, it's garbage.

On the injury front we've had a miracle season IMO and virtually no injuries apart from Long who we can't say we've missed desperately as he's never strung a decent set of games together for us. For Rovers, everything revolves round Dobson with Newton their 2nd most important player and their win ratio without them was testament to this. You can't compare the humiliation of the Mason saga and associated de-registration of Dobson to any "trauma" for us. We binned off Tansey but got Phelps. Gleeson was pure opportunism that might have given us some upside, but hasn't.
In terms of the coach, all Agar has ever had from the club is 100% unshakeable support in the public domain. Hudgell's in the dressing room at Rovers more than the kitman, undermining the coach and giving public ultimatums of winning the next 4 games, and now we know Morgan is going for interviews at Castleford. I don't see they're the same in terms of distraction value at all.

It's a bit far-fetched, but not "pure fantasy" IMO. Our execution was very poor when we were in their 20 metre area. A couple of clever moves or decent kicks on a greasy pitch could have changed the game, possibly.

How on earth has the pressure being on Agar ...he has his own team and is fully backed by the club who gave him an extension!
Long has been injured for the last 2 seasons!...our best rugby we have played in the last god knows how many years was played over the Easter period without Longy!

Lets get back to the point. Had Green/Dobson played we'd have won.
So a few week ago in similar conditions what did Rovers do at Leeds with their wonderful halves. I rest my case.

Again I am not and have no wish to compare Hull and Rovers. The point made by Phleb was we'd have won with their halves, IMO we wouldn't and Rovers never at Headingley a few weeks ago.
As for the pressure on Agar, I am sure things like banners, chants have meant pressure, otherwise why has the club made statements this season which were basically votes of confidence in him? Not pressure from the board but pressure from the fans.

I agree with the Phleb point but tbf he talks shiite!
I disagree about Agar he promised us he would walk away if he failed, which he has miserably....we are now fighting for 8th spot! and Agars response to that is to tell the fans it is exciting, hardly portrays a man under pressure does it ?
The club have been far too quiet this season they appear content with the present situation......

I went on record early in the season to say that Agar had earnt himself a shot this season for decent season last season. However this season we won't finish 6th or higher and won't probably win a play off game and although still in the CC realistically we won't win it so he has failed. I hope the board see this and act but my guess is they won't.

| It's not difficult to understand Paul with Dobson and Green at 6 and 7 in YOUR side last night you would have won. You matched them up front in my opinion and your defence easily kept them at bay I mean it was that good you would hardly call it last ditch would you.

So they would have ripped Leeds defence apart like they did when you played there yes? Again look where the game was played and the amount of tackles we made. We were on the back foot all night and only our goaline defence kept us in the game.

| But it wasn't Rovers playing was it? I thought that physically you more than matched them and losing Fitz although not having his best game was a blow. But like I said you more than physically matched them and with Green and Dobson playing you'd have taken better options (I.e phelps going into touch as an example) and had a better kicking game which would have given you better field position. Like I said earlier playing westerman at 6 next weekend will IMO give you a better chance as he is looking dangerous with ball in hand
