Just a feeling I'm getting. Sent out on loan (I agree that was a good move) but then recalled and not getting used much. If we're after another hooker as rumoured by Errlee Berd then I imagine that Cunningham will be even further down the pecking order with us.

if he keeps playing as he is, then no. but if he went back to how he played under gentle, then he's good enough.

I'd be fairly happy with any of those three. We can't sign a star name everytime, we have to make the smart, astute, cheaper signings every now and again. Plus we already have a large chuck of cap tied up in the second row with Ellis.

Could have a large chunk tied up to Ellis for awhile yet. The Mail is reporting he's entered "tentative" extension talks.

Olbison has just signed on at the Bulls again so not him.

Addy is very versatile and a big lad, iv liked the look of him for a while. He would be a great squad player and like another poster said we cant have a team of stars, we need to be more smart with the cap IMO.

One of the hookers we're looking at is Paul McShane by the way (hot of the press). I'd be quite happy with him, great distribution from DH and has a much better instinct than Houghton at seeing opportunities infront of him.

If he feels Cunny isn't ready yet then i'm afraid the writing is on the wall for the kid.

Cant say I've ever been impressed with McShane tbh apart from the odd good game here and there. If he was that good he would still be at Leeds, but they cast him off and signed Aiton, who, despite being a very capable hooker, isn't a world beater himself.

We are never going to catch Leeds and Wigan if we keep signing their cast offs.

Him being cast off by Leeds had more to do with his relationship with Brian Mac and the way he wanted him to play rather than his qualities as a player. At Widnes last year and Wakefield this year he's flourished. Sometimes players just don't get a chance.

Like I said, he ticks the boxes against qualities that most of his give Danny houghton stick over.

Some of Wigan & Leeds' 'cast-offs' in the past have proved to be pretty useful players for us.

There is many good players not won much, but we are after yet another hooker when we have let one of the best in SL go.
