with respect none of us are interested in whether four clubs file full accounts and we dont.
Radford out is the subject and more and more posters on here seem to be getting the message.
We can see on the field the limitations of this coach and its obvious now to most that Radford should be replaced as the coaching is Stale.
To see the same limitations week after week without any sign of improvement for me indicates he should go

I don't think anyone would believe we are a minnow. Just that 4 other clubs are bigger from a financial perspective (hence filing full accounts rather than exemption ones) and they [ujust happen[/u to be the ones who've had a stranglehold on Super League Grand Finals for years. Expecting us to magically break into this group could be a little naive. Hoping for it is another matter - I'm sure we all do, and have done for a long time.

Eeerrrrrrmmmm sorry but Wire have only just joined the party. I think FC have a comparable history in Super League.

It's not a coincidence but money isn't the only factor. There are many more variables, the value you get from your playing roster when you're spending full cap and the coaching being two key variables. I don't believe there are 4 other teams this season which have a better squad than us, I do think there are 4 teams which have better coaching than us though.

4 GF appearances in the last 7 years, I don't think we're quite there yet.

The worrying thing is , our Club in general, has a very shallow hierarchy with no knowledge,or influence, within the game .

I agree there are other factors. But as said at the start of the season our pack was a concern for many including me before a ball was kicked hence low levels of expectation (9th/8th by most pundits). I actually think Wakefield's squad is better than ours this year in the forwards, but they've not been able to field a fit side for months. Of course, as it stands, there are only 4 teams above us (3 of these only on points difference), despite a substandard pack, missing Kelly for weeks on end and starting the season on a losing streak of 11 with a load of injuries. I have no doubt there are better coaches around than Radford - he's one of the youngest after all - but I also think when we play really well, which we have sometimes this year, he doesn't get any credit.

Will be good to see how Lee goes in 2020 with his newly updated reinvigorated squad.
I think theres a very good chance he could be leading the side out at OT.

Here’s the deal - I know if I don’t perform to 85% of target then I’m going on a Performance Plan to help me focus on the reason I’m paid
I’m paid to hit target and get the best out of my team. Nothing else - nothing to do with friendship in the office - no mateship. Just target and motivate to high performance
I accept in return for my nice wage

After 2 Performance plans and I’m still missing 85% then I expect the sack or be given the chance to resign in the same meeting

No sweat - thems the rules , they kind of come with being a leader/coach

LR and AL seemed to have failed at least 3 PPs in my opinion and are travelling at about 65% of AP’s target

I have absolutely no idea why he hasn’t pulled the trigger
He’s rewarding poor results with job security
He’s even more like Tim Sheens than Tim is

When LR leaves and a new professional coach comes in you will hear the players say “ it was a bit too easy under Lee”

I swear, he just needs to go, for his sake as well
He can go to Wakefield next or Fev

It was possibly the alacrity you showed pulling the appointment position number out of the machine.

Generally interested , apart from Warrington who I know has a sugar daddy owner, which other teams are financially stronger than us? And in which areas do they exceed us, Wigans ground always looks empty at home, I'd of thought with our attendances and season pass and shirt sales we d be one of the strongest financially.

As for Radford, always gave him the benefit of the doubt, but when a team rolls over so easily, has no motivation in certain big games, and looks so disjointed tactically at times, you've got to ask why, the interviews are starting to me off, it's almost just a shrug of the shoulders now and accepted which just isn't good enough.

We've shipped out the average players for next season, maybe it's now time of a change of coach as I agree it's gone very stale.

Of these clubs with high turnover, Wigan and Leeds lost about £1/2 million each in their last set of reported accounts and saints about £600k.. wire made a profit but then so did we

The point is that we need to be self funding as AP isn't a benefactor. McManus, Lenegan, Caddick and Moran are pretty well heeled.

On Saints, Mcmanus said recently
“As a result of the final stage of this long-term programme, we are debt free, profitable and have a net asset value of approximately £22million. We now aim to improve further going forward by way of increased operational profit."

Lenegan made £19m when he sold his software business. Simon Moran of Warrington is worth £157m and Paul Caddick who co-owns Leeds is worth £200m.
