Our issues are much deeper than one player, we are lazy and lack mental toughness. That has to come from the coach, like MaGuire did with Wigan. A new halfback won't make too much difference if he doesn't have runners to give him options.
This is the biggest disappointment for me with Gentle, he hasn't transformed our style of play that much. We don't ptb any quicker, we don't have proper attacking structures in place, we still give away silly penalties late in sets and we still lack belief. The one thing he has done in improve us defensively and made us more agressive.
A new SH is a must but if we are expecting miracles then we'll be disappointed.'"
Fully agree with that. A decent SH would make us better but nowhere near the levels some seem to think. You only have to look across the river to see that a good SH doesn't make up for all of the other problems in a team. There are plenty of areas where we could eb a whole lot better without the addition of any players and this is where gentle needs to prove his worth for me |

Apart from the huge financial incentives to join them?
Cos we all know there are ways of incentivising a player financially other than the salary cap.
Wire have been doing it for years.
Dont be surprised to see Sallford being the next 'Man City' so to speak? |

Noble knows SL inside out and has history in getting teams playing well in the comp. He doesnt under estimate the opposition and plays to a teams strengths, exactly what we need here, not some australian drip who thinks he knows it all but clearly doent know a great deal at all.

I am full of s*** which elevates me to semi-guru status in this amoeba pit
Always find it funny the way im villified on here. Have people not been on facebook recently and looked at the clubs own facebook page? i would estimate 80% of people said Gentle is clueless or should go after the London game in threads on there.
This place is almost a club love in with the select few still saying all is good just like they did with the previous owners, Sharp, Agar etc etc |

If he's so fantastic, why hasn't a single one of the many clubs that have appointed coaches while he's been a free agent appointed him? |

Which is exactly what I expected from Gentle, to improve players, attitudes and structures. Add that to the right recruitment and we have a recipe of success potentially. |
