IMO we need berrigan back at hooker ASAP. I like houghton but the distribution from the PTB is slow and innacurate. Means we look slow and laboured and struggle to make ground

Warrington had Briers, Bridge and Carvell missing tonight and one eye on the cup final. We're a long way short of challenging for honours, don't be fooled. We showed effort (but shouldn't we always) granted but it takes more than that to win things.

It's not all about the score sheet though. I've been to many games were we have won by 6 points or more and thought we have been poor.

Hull FC played with some real spirt today, and credit to them. Warrington were quality, but a couple of our own play making decision going slightly differently and we may have got the win today - with the injuries we have, against a squad as fast as theres, I think our lads deserve a pat on the back. We can take a lot of confidence into the game against Leeds.

With our first team it we would be better, we do need to improve the sqaud and I am sure Agar knows this, you can't go from 12th to top in one season, it takes time to build the right squad.

I'm glad you feel the same as me. A full strength pack should have given us a much better platform. For much of the match we struggled to clear our line. I'm also at a loss to see how our forwards looked so knackered at the end given we had 3 props and a 2nd rower on the bench.

We have absolutely no tempo to our game. We had 2 great wingers on the pitch tonight and they hardly saw the ball other than kick returns

The forwards had to do all the work tonight at least twice as much as they would normally so i would expect them to get tired and god knows how many times this has been said but how do you expect us to use the wingers a lot when we have no half backs on the field.

I thought we had plenty of ball in good attacking positions. That has to be down to the forwards. The problem was, we had no idea how to use the possession we had.

We did in the 1st half. We had hardly any ball in their half in the 2nd

They played ok tonight and tried hard . But what worries me is our attacking play and our passing look at them tries they scored fast hands , support play we don't do this . We can't expect to just win by going straight down the middle all the time . No dummy runners and no set moves people will say no half backs but even with them I'm not convinced they do this just basics we seem to struggle on

We were down to 10 for a quarter of the second half and we also put ourselves under a fair bit of pressure with some daft dropped balls and penalties. I don't think the forwards did too badly overall. The game was teetering Wire's way just before the sin-binning and I think that just tipped the balance. I expected us to get done by a lot more than we did given the players we had out.

Another dig at Agar whats the man supposed to do in that situation in sure every coach Maguire and Smith included would do the same in his position.

No, but they do take care of the kicking game and organise the attack so there's fewer handling errors.

This I would probably agree with. Even in some of the games we've won this season the brand of rugby has been less than exciting.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say but I doubt the forwards would be doing significantly less work because the half backs were different. We play a no frills, forward orientated game no matter who is at half back

We didn't make too many errors tonight. Kicking game was shocking but it has been for 3 years now

What im saying is that with halfbacks we wouldent of had to play a 5 drives and a kick game it would of been 3 to 4 drives then spread it out wide but with no half backs we play a percentage game were its 5 drives then a kick now if we had said half backs and spread it out more often then the forwards would have to take 1-2 less drives a set on average meaning less work so then they can play longer minutes and will not tire as fast.

Quality experienced h/backs make the game a lot easier for forwards...they organise,k they shift the ball out wide etc etc

Face it. agar has built his squad around a big pack of forwards and we've played a forward dominated game all season. We played with 5 props tonight so there was plenty of rotation and we shouldn't have been out on our feet as we wre IMO. wire looked much fitter than us
