I agree entirely.
The inconsistency is the annoying part and you can see it infuriates the players too.

Who's actually in charge of the officials? Is there a governing body or anyone who's supposed to be holding them accountable?

As Chris said the decisions were on the end of are absolutely ridiculous, the thing is they arnt one offs either it's been in almost every game were in the recieving end of numerous shocking decisions that defy common sense.

It was Phil Bentham who was the Match Officials Coach and he also took on the role of Head of Officials on a temporary basis when Ganson stood down, but I seem to remember reading earlier this year that Bentham had resigned from both roles and don't remember seeing anything about anyone else being appointed.

Five sin binnings in four games is something of a concern.

Basically a rudderless ship then with no accountability, sounds like the setups currently a shambles no wonder the officiating is so poor

Bentham left last month, I can't imagine there'll be masses of candidates clamouring for the job. A bit like referees, they don't grow on trees.

And Steve Ganson is on long-term sick leave.

Certainly puts our defeat in a different light. On this form they're going to be very hard to beat.

The Saints board is full of comments regarding how poorly they are playing, Woolf is not getting as much adoration as his predecessor.

Catalans without Tompkins, managed to stifle the life out of Saints, much the same way we got despatched, the Catalans are a real threat.
