Harvey Livett was their MoM by a mile.

Thought we did an awful lot of defending and did it well on the whole. Scored some really good tries too. Jones and Griffin is going to be a really good combination on the left edge.
We gave the ball up cheaply on too many occasions tonight and that definitely needs tidying up befoee the Saints game.

It really is their cup final though.

Man of the match, Rovers must be sick of him ploughing a furrow down that side. Quality centre. Top marks to Jones as well, terrific stint by him.

So, despite a 2 day turnaround disadvantage, missing Ma'u, Ellis, Kelly and Faraimo and not getting out of 2nd gear we collect another 2 points, bragging rights and go top. Been a decent opening 6 days.

Thought we made really hard work of that tonight. Piggy backing them up the field far to much. Completion rate poor. Was it due to being tired after a short turn around? Maybe.

Thought kr played well, not as good as some some people are making out though. But credit to them, put in a good shift.

Dont think livett try was grounded. Ellis was offside from kennys kick over, before he knocked the ball into crooks.
Crooks try was a cracker, really good team try.

Not sure if sav was offside from sneyds kick. But all in all, when we went up a gear we looked to much for kr, esp in the last 20 mins. Griff had a belter, ripped them apart on the left edge.

As already mentioned , Griffin was the stand out player in an average team performance , I thought the kicking & kick pressure was poor this week but we still got the win , Fair play to Rovers also , Cracking try !!

Griffin and Savelio were the standouts. Either would have been worthy MOTM's.

To get a win with an under par performance in a derby will do for me. Just wanted that win.
Need to improve our completion rate and also discipline. Gave away too much possesion and easy metres. The big men stepped up 2nd half. Really like Sao and Satae looks awesome this year. Unreal leg drive and he runs in it as hard as anybody.
