Tom is a wonderful winger that served our club well and I wish him all the best at Leeds. But to say he gave his all in our jersey is not correct. Since the speculation arose regarding his future, there's been plenty of games where he's phoned it in.

So we have let an international leave, for free aswell, to sign somebody from kick n clap who is nearly 30 who might not even make the switch because lets face it sometimes they dont and thats either way code switches, i wonder if bomber put talc on to make it even dryer!!! SHAFTED!!!

He was always going "for free", its called being out of contract.

Yeah i get that, just we could have maybe got something for him if would have been this time last year its just a shame,
theres no money in the game as it is and we have let an england our only england player go for nothing leeds will be laughing at clubs like us! we got him at the level he is and they reap the benefits just annoying imo. like tomkins went whilst in his current contract to earn the club that gave him his chance in the sport he loves some decent dosh and he will return an even better player to them its smart business wigan have done there.

And perhaps his last year, seeing as it was at the end of a long contract, came relatively cheap for a player of his status so that was good business after all.

Tom was given more than enough time to sign the contract on offer, he didn't, nobody else is to blame! cant blame him if he feels he can better himself at leeds and he probably will do! the club couldnt wait around when other areas of the squad needed improving!

leeds have the luxury of a great academy and can bring players through in numerous positions so may not need to spend in certain areas like we have too!

How have we lost the TB to sign a Union winger? TB wanted to leave he has, we've apparently replaced him with Tom Biggs. You're making out like we've shown Briscoe the door to bring Biggs in.

And Briscoe isn't the third best, he's second best imo behind Hall. He's better than Charnley.

I would rather have Charnley in our side than Briscoe. That's before he moved to Leeds as well.

Obviously opinions differ, but I honestly don't get how people would have Charnley over Briscoe?

Tom Briscoe did not accept a new contract off Hull Fc because he wanted to go to Australia. He decided for what ever reason - Girl Friend - Cronulla or whatever not to go. I think the deadline was 1st July and AP ran out of patience with the dithering and withdrew contract offer. Leeds in - jobs a goodun. We move on TOM DID NOT WANT TO STAY AT HULL - FACT

Charnley and Hall are head and shoulders above Briscoe and always have been.

I wouldn't go that far. Charnley has been far better this season though.

Personally think given the service Tom will overtake hall n charnley.
Definitely agree with Briscoe been better than charnley now. If roles had been reversed Tom at Wigan would have been devastating!

Exactly Charnley has looked brilliant (I agree he's had a great season) but c'mon he plays outside Goulding and in a brilliant Wigan team that has Tomkins chiming in and out wherever he wants.
Briscoe has played out side of Yeaman ffs! He's the up there with the worst centres a winger could ask for in the league.

Tom can do things neither Charnley or Hall can.

He's a winger with no service. Play him outside Watkins or Moon and he will score a hat load. He has scored try's that neither charnley or hall can. Do you think either of them would have stopped Peter Fox?

Really will be a massive loss for us next year.
