Think Cas moving the goalposts and holding out for a bigger transfer fee may well be the sticking point.

Bomber put a deadline on of a week on the deal, but the Visa will be done when it's done UKBA won't give a flying one about our deadlines, I believe therefore that the deadline was extended as some ground was being made with Cas over the fee, but we now have reached stalemate again. Just my opinion but think the Visa is sorted.

If I recall correctly he was not, in my opinion over charitable towards Hull on the latest Super League program & I believe he though that we would not win @ the weekend.

Millward's helped Cas to a pretty terrible Super League season. He can posture all he wants, he's still going to lose Chase to another club before the month is out.

Chase is a maverick. A brilliant magician at times, but is volatile and prone to absences on the field. I'd love him at Hull and reading between the lines, the fact no other club has announced an interest either shows that he IS an FC player or that there is a massive "do not touch" sign over him due to legal issues. I still await the NRL club to make themselves known as an interested party.

Either way, Hull FC are playing this superbly - raising the level of tension with the odd interjection. It's generating interest and on the announcement of a signing, season passes will hit the roof. I'm loving it.

Galea put pen to paper on a one year deal earlier today. Looks like it will be announced tomorrow, possibly wednesday, but tomorrow looking more likely.

It seems there is still a lot of things up in the air considering a month or so ago AP said we have 8 signings to be announced.

Chase being the obvious one but then there's the Amor situation and the are we/arnt we signing Galea.

It doesnt get much closer to the end of the season and we still dont know about Ogre, Mcgoldrick, Sharpe all OOC are they staying or going.

I hope that you are correct. I think that Hull would benefit by having his services, particularly if he can keep free from injuries & maintain his current form.

TBh it all just seems that Hull have tried to sign X, Y and Z but they have fallen through so now they try and offer Ogre a contract to stay... Same thing for for Galea.

O'meley at present won't be staying at the club next season, he isn't very high up on Gentles christmas list!!

I can see one of the 8 not signing (Bateman?) but we were after 2 halves and a prop after those.
