What we are doing. Work on and invest in our youth. It wasn't the young lads who let us down today. It'll tek a bit of time, though.

Tbh..apart from the opening 10mins and last 5 in 1st half...we wasnt that bad...just that we didnt have a clue at half-back.

Good post and agree with that....we are still in a transition period.We all knew the squad was thin and its being proved that now but a couple of 1st teamers let the young uns down today as well....thought Moa and Manu were particulary poor.

If some of you guys don't like my view on things don't reply, end of the day we all have our opinions it's a forum, I was simply expressing mine a few weeks ago when 2 forum members started to get personal, and was head hunting me every post I made, so I decided to give them a taste of their own medicine.

I want my team to do well like all of us, I ain't been to a game this season, that's me being honest, I want to get too some games this season "as many as I can" I don't have as much time on my hands now working, so any time I have on weekends I like to spend with my children and the miss' because I never get chance to spend time with them and when kids are young and growing up you try and take as much time as you can with them, when they are young it's these times you look back on in the future when they are all grown up.

Since we've switched to Sunday rugby, I've spent my weekends taking them out to the park, for meals, and enjoying time with them, before was different when I had season passes etc, I could finish work on Fridays, have a few beers and get to the KC and watch the rugby, and then spend my time with the family over the weekend.

Sorry if you guy's don't like what I post at times, but the truth is, today we was poor and injuries was no excuse for the 50 points we conceded, tackling is what every rugby league player should be able to do, problem is today we didn't respect the ball when we had it, and when we didn't have it we didn't defend well enough to get anything out of the game and was comprehensively beaten, this has nothing to do with injuries, but purely down to the fact that we was very poor.

If we had defended valiantly, completed sets and put wigan under pressure, and lost by 20-30 that would have been acceptable....

So we were good for 65 minutes and conceded 10 tries?

Im not defending (no pun) anything here,was expecting a battering today and like i said,some of the 1st teamers let us down as wellwe conceded 28pts in a 15min period in the 1st half mostly down to errors and Tomkins being a jammy $hit or are we supposed to read that play.

We lost to a full strength Wigan team. Who expected us to win???? I know I didnt. He put his strongest team out who he thought was best. What more can he do. It takes time to blend into a team when you are only young and playing a top team. I just wish some people on here would understand that. We arent as good as we could be but we are much better than with Agar. OK so we got thrashed, sometimes thats gonna happen and thats life. You cant expect miracles. I am not expecting anything fantastic this year and to finish in the top 6 to 8 would be great especially with the team we have had to use with all our injuries. Just lets build on this and see what comes of it. Gentle knows what hes doing. Have faith in the guys and get behind them. They will need it.

Always a write off and wished he'd rested Martin from the off. Knew we'd be a reserve team today and worst case scenario would be shattered condidences of the the young lads. Hope that hasn't happened because it wasn't their fault we lost.

Was saying to my Grandad this morning about the problem we have with Youth.. As you said from the old regime we can only really name one player that's "made it with Hull f.c" and that's briscoe.

They was Hodgson and Hall of course, and a few other Hull F.C youth/academy players, but the old regime must have injected rovers blood into them.

We have some prospects coming through, Niklas, Kent, Bowden, but possibly only one of them 3 might make it, maybe none, but if I was to take a pick it would be Bowden.
