No because they know he is only saying it to ensure he get's the KC..City fans want him to have the KC, the bent Dobbin councillors want him to have the KC...the dobbins will want him to have it just to get one over on us.

He will get the KC, and no doubt the likes of Hudge & Cronies are first in the queue to invest in his dream village!

Not so sure about that. On the radio he's wittering on about how he's given the people of West Hull lots so wanted to give something to the people of East Hull when infact hes now given to Hull City and HKR supporters.

Anyway Rovers will probably lose the money when it gets 'stolen' out if the back of somebodys car over the coming weeks.

i was suprised at the lack of an outcry when he threatend to take city to melton, maybe most people see it for what i think it is, a bluff. i do think he will get the kc though, worrying times. as for the investment in rovers, if allem wanted good publicity just by being charitable he would of donated the million quid to dove house or something, he is using hull kr as a pawn in the long game, why else would a business man invest into a company that has lost money year on year, his million wont suddenly see rovers making a profit, it may well be that its his way of sealing the deal with certain counsilers, i just hope he stays away from hull fc.

The one saving grace is that Hull aren't desperate for his investment. Rovers, poor blind and skint fools had no choice but to accept the Trojan Horse.

How can a man who said just five weeks ago that he would only support rugby League in this City if both clubs combined and merged because he refused to support one team and not the other have any credibility! He sited doing that as being unfair on the people of Hull. For me quite simply the man is certainly not a man of his word and some might even say a liar. For a man who wants to get on with everyone he has in one act allienated himself with half the City! When he made that statement it appears he had already been talking to Rovers for months. Someone should ask David Burns or the Hull Daily Mail to ask Mr Allam what is behind this obvious U turn. Smells a bit of David Lloyd this, all this wanting a piece of everything and spitting his dummy out (Welton and get rid of HUll Fair) when he is faced with possibly not getting his own way. If I was a Rovers fan I would be careful what I wished for and if I was the national audit office I would be watching this deal for the KC very closely!

It appears a buy-out here, and a strategically placed loan there, and the grateful recipients become immediately blinkered to the bigger picture. Not daft, is he?

As regards the media - particularly the Mail - they appear to be firmly on his side and trumpeting his cause for him. The Mail every day is sickening in it's sycophancy at the moment, and only publishing positive propaganda to Assist Assem. Wonder why? I fear there will be no awkward questions asked there. It's all a bit Duffenesque from the Mail's angle - it appears they do not learn from their mistakes.

Personally think Allam is carrying on as if the stadium purchase is a formality, give Rovers money and keep the Rovers supporting councillors sweet (hypothetically). In his interview on radio today he more or less said the East of the city shouldn't lose out when the West is getting everything. Problem here is the West haven't got anything yet as the deal hasn't gone through.

What a pathetic way of buying the votes of east hull (hull kr fans) when the referendum for the stadium arises.

Allem just indicated on RH that he [ihas[/i invested in Hull FC by the the use of facilities at the KC. Clearly he is very confident of the purchase of the stadium going through.

He also confirmed that he has never been to a RL game before the weekend.

Christ - he's on Blunderside now saying Hull are already benefiting by using the KC. Wittering on about us having no ground maintenance costs! So we don't pay rent to the SCM?

Scarily, he's already talking as if he owns the stadium and is being generous in letting us use it!
