Gut instinct is he'll get a reprieve he doesn't really deserve due to circumstances - it'll be close run and Agar sounds unhappy but you'd be down to the bones before a ball is kicked in anger if you binned him.

Could Burnett be recalled? I know backrow is an area where you do have cover, but if one is your interchange hooker, another's your 6, a couple are needed to help out at prop or even fill in at centre, an extra experienced player would surely be welcome.

More seriously, both Sammut and Phelps are non-fed and you only have one spot. That's why I think Tansey might get a fourth chance that he normally wouldn't have. That'd be the pragmatic thing to do anyway.

TBF, I dont think he was known for his off field antics when we signed him, but the lad has clearly got a huge attitude problem, and this is his third strike in little over a year with the club. He's had a rocket up his arris, and still chose to ignore advice from his peers. He deserves to be sacked. I hope the club have the balls to follow through.

i'd be surprised if there were any clubs daft enough to sign a player who has had 3 discliplinary issues in the last year. chances are we will sack him but he will struggle to find a club IMO

Last season, when Tansey was disciplined from the Quins game, he was out in Leeds the next night. I know this because I served him at the bar!

Its sounds as though he may well have finished his career at Hull FC as Agar when asked by Murdoch if he still had a future at the club never said yes which would indicate he's as good as gone and it would be the correct decision to show him the door, but time will tell. If he aint learnt any lessons from his troubles last season then I doubt he will change so time to say thanks but no thanks to Tansey.
