Couple of the papers had Canberra favs to sign him after Campese was ruled out for the whole
of next season. Some reckon Para are holding off making a move as they are waiting to see
what develops with Thurston and the Cowboys. Cronulla were also linked but have denied any
interest.

Agreed about Orford, he is a big earner and will probably have a few clubs interested, and with the salary cap as tight as it is there any major signing usually triggers a chain of player movement, although Bradford hold the aces there because he is contracted and could take a player in exchange for him from any interested club, with the size of his contract though if he signs for someone I'm sure at least one halfback he previously wasn't will become available.

so if nothing is said by tommorrow night it could be safe to say that rumour was a load of cak

regarding the rovelli rumour, i'm also surprised that hasn't been tied up yet since it was first mentioned in the papers a while ago....
