Was just thinking that as the two places are VERY similar! Both quick and skillful and great goal kickers yet questions about there defence!

 Hall played 22 out of 27 league games last season. I also didn't say that "anyone" who isn't playing well is dropped. With the injuries we have had over the last 18 months its been difficult just to get 17 fit players so options for dropping people was very limited. It just happens that Hall could be covered and its not like he is the established automatic first choice anyway.
Would Hall have the mental toughness to even play for a team like Saints? Debatable IMHO. |

Its a good move for Hall, he was lacking a bit in confidence and he may be able to regain alot of them from playing for Widnes.
I'd like to see him back a better player for it.

You know i hear this 'lacking in confidence' nonsense and it really does make me laugh. Craig is one of the most confident players i have ever met, he always backs himself and he's a natural try scorer. Confidence is something he deffo doesn't lack.

Is a tad odd as we've just let Wildbore go as he couln't commute enough from Hull
My guess is he may still do a few sessions at Hull FC! Then again Anthony Thackery lives somehwere in Widnes during the week now, guess the two would be familiar with each other etc? |
