The team did well, just little mistakes and a little help from the ref an touch judge gave huddersfield the momentum to kick on.

there first try in first half was forward, and ellis not finding touch.. Maybe knock on but linesman never saw any..

hudds were better as we tired but well done to all the boys

Were you there? It was plain to see this one was over at that stage. Hudds looked sharp, fast, fresh and fit. We looked tired, slow and jaded. Once they took the lead, there was only going to be one outcome, particularly when you consider we had probably our strongest 13 on the park at the time.

Under the circumstances I thought we did OK.
Brilliant effort in the first half, though it clearly took it's toll as the 2nd half went on. A few individual errors and missed tackles contributed to the scoreline.

Well played Hudds too, stuck to their task, didn't get too frustrated and wore us down.

Not too fussed about the result, I expected to lose, I'm more concerned about the extra knocks we seemed to pick up.

A great effort in the 1st half, but the quality of the opposition and fatigue took it's toll in the 2nd. Nothing to be downbeat about in my opinion, young players gaining valuable experiance is a massive plus. And gentle will have learnt how strong a squad needs to be in SL to compete for honours.

First half was great, couldn't have asked for any more. Second we were cut to ribbons through Hudds speed and ability to break the line

Plus a few others playing today are doubts for next week. Noticed Martin holding his neck during the game too. 'kinell.

Martin missed loads of tackles - some he didn't even attempt. I think he must have been some way off being fit before the game even started.

Also the I thought the effects of the Easter program and not being able to rotate any players was pretty apparent in the 2nd half. Most of the team looked exhausted.

Next week is a total write-off.
Rest everyone who has a knock and just take the 50-60 points on the chin.

What does that have to do with this post. My point was a game isn't over with 4 points in it, especially as we scored 14 points with half our team out. Anything can happen in RL!

I think we should play the U20's against Wigan, take a big hammering, have a week off and then come back for the Leeds game like its the start of a new season.

might be controversial, and some who have paid for tickets/passes may not agree...but all I can see is that we will pick up even more injuries by playing injured players.

I'm glad other people can see how questionable beating against your own team is.

Was always a hard ask today but we gave them a good game for 40 minutes. If they had not got the score just before half time we may have come out with a lot more confidence and anything could have happened.
No excuse for our poor defence at times in the 2nd half or for the amount of dummies we took.

He may have missed some tackles, but I thought he tried hard today, and playing with a neck injury under pain killing injections is a brave thing to do. Particularly as he is likely to retire or drop down to the Championship at the end of the season anyway.

The try on half time killed it for us,hudds wasnt even in the game and brough hadnt done nothing either,the try gave them the confidence they needed,plus not making touch from a penalty should never happen,all the people who call for ellis to replace horne need to give there head a bang.
