You simply cannot throw punches after being rightly penalised for holding down! If Radford had got off the man as the laws of the game suggest this would never have happened.

I was surprised to see his reaction to what basically was a load of nonsense and at the end of it all Radfords utter unproffessionalism cost you nothing else.

So his face just spontaneously burst open did it?

What really beats me is the "our player is harder than your player" attitude. Who gives a Damn who would win one-on-one?

The fact of the matter is Radford held Bailey down in the tackle, copped a couple whilst Bailey struggled to get up, then completely lost it and hit out on a player who wad unable to defend himself. Result red card and Leeds finish fourth.

He was sent off because he repeatedly aimed and landed punches at a prone defenceless player, he deserved the red card.

If both players where stood up and say the punching took place after the play the ball both players would probably have got ten minutes.

So Radders wasn`t defenceless when the elbow was going in?

Looked it to me,but of course I could be bias,and misjudging a gentleman of the game.

I agree would have been better even starting with Washy n Longy and Horne on bench, I know both have been out for a while but thought myself Horne was poor last night.

It's a tackle, players flap about trying to gain a quick play the ball. Knowing Bailey as the player he is it could well have been deliberate but we don't know for sure, he was certainly flapping around trying to get up

Radford was obviously very up for the game and it overflowed

It didn't shock me to see a red card but i wouldn't have given him one. I think the fact abit of claret was on display didn't help Radfords cause either

for crying out loud can you hear yourselves? Bailey whilst trying to get up and play the ball catches Radford with his elbow. If Radford had cleared the play the ball area he would not have been caught! He then, whilst Bailey is face down, lands 4 punches to a player in no position the defend himself. Red card correct for violent behaviour, yellow correct for reaction after incident.
Get over it Radford potentially lost you the game with his rediculous behaviour

Yes there is consistancy obviously.

They consistantly get away with murder.

Think most people agree, it cost us the game, what people want is consistency, if throwing punches is a red card offence then it should happen every time, ie: Mason, Fielden,,,,, Peacock a few times at scrums has let fly, Senior a few times, even last night Wellens on McGoldrick, there'll be a few every game,,,, its history now, roll on weekend

Just watched the incident for the 1st time since seeing it live last night. I think Radford was totally justified in his response. Sadly it cost us the game ultimately but it was never a red card. Both men should have been in the bin for 10. Ref lost the plot. Bailey is just a dirty thug.

Particularly when you see Wellens do pretty much the same thing in the Saints - Cas game and Thaler just gave them a talking to.

Take your blinkers off you galoot. Who was throwing the punches ? If that happened anywhere other than a rugby field Radford would be looking at a charge & possibly a bit of bird.

You need to get over it & move on............if you can like.

A player of Radfords experience should have just rolled away and got on with the game. His reaction wasnt justified at all. A penalty would have come his way if it warranted one.
He cost you the game because you would have beaten Leeds with 13 men. I think he will get a ban due to precedents set but i would just give him sending of sufficient personally.
