Not only has that decision arguably cost us the game (let's face it, with an hour still to go, ANYTHING could have happened in that game), but he'll no doubt get a 3 game ban. But you can guarantee Hicks will still be refereeing for the next few games. I'd rather see a championship red given a go at a Super League game because they sure as hell can't be any worse that most of the current lot but they are amongst the only people in the world who can do their job terribly on a consistent basis and not get punished for it.

As for the game, monumental effort but for the 2nd game running we've been on the end of a dodgy sending off decision which has cost us the game. If those 2 games weren't televised then neither ellis or watts would have been sent off

There was plenty of mention of the ref, since Wigan were allowed to keep a player on the pitch after they did a tackle exactly the same as we that we got our captain sin binned for last week.

refs don't cheat, they're not on the take and they're not consciously biased. They are, however useless, inconsistent and easily influenced. It needs sorting quickly and we desperately need 2 refs on the field. The game is just too quick and there is too much going on for 1 man to control it effectively.

I'm as disappointed about the officials missing the dan marino style pass from gelling for wigan's 3rd try as I am about the watts sending off.

Fact is had sneyd not handed gelling a try on a plate and the officials seen that forward pass, we'd probably have won with 12 men anyway, despite starting the game without 4 key players (plus michaels)

I agree with it all. I think we can win 4 games and win the competition. I think wakey will be very nervy next week whereas we seem to pull out our best in knock out football.

Cas are by no means unbeatable but i think most of us would have preferred Leeds away if we make the top four.

Cas still have a big day in the top 4 a they play us and Wigan, doesn't look like they are letting up either despite winnng the league, if they go and play next week they will beat Wigan

IF and it's a big if Cas rest anyone before their semi, it would make sense for it to be against us and not Wigan as i definitely can't see them disrupting the team 2 games running.

Cas have a 5 day turnaround before our match then 6 before their home semi. We have an 8 day between Wakey and Cas which a big difference. A physical Wigan game could play into our favour if they play the first choice 17.

I don't think they will want to disrupt momentum unless someone has a knock though.
