I have said this before but I would really like to talk to Pearson about just what he sees in Radford. He obviously thinks highly of him, but listening to him talk I just don't get it. To me he just comes across as uninspiring and poorly educated. Even Shaun Wane speaks more eloquently and I'm pretty sure he's just a gorilla in a suit.

Given that Radford has been given a public guarantee (what possessed Pearson to do this - crazy in any industry to give such a carte blanche with shoring scaffolding, never mind in a sporting club?) the best we can hope for is an additional recruit to work with him.

Who would Radford work with? Normally I'd have Noble low on my wish list but given that Noble was Radford's coach at Bradford during the glory years of all three may mean this combination could work.

Presumably Radford respects him and resonds to him. Could Noble in fact be the only person who could slot in without creating a tsunami of resentment? We don't want a split camp as what Radford himself appeared to create under Gentle ( just my interpretation of what I saw, this last bit).

There is no way Noble will come in, it would just undermine Radford.

Surely anyone would - sort of thought Noble [icould[/i be the exception given that he coached Radford during his most successful years. A thought more in hope than belief - never been a massive Noble fan.

So who? Or is the only way a complete Radford replacement - which Pearson appears to have ruled out?

Lee needs to be demoted to the amateur leagues (where he belongs) Hutchie can give him some mentoring

If radford was to get the boot, id be amazed if he got another gig in the professional ranks, nevermind the championship .... that says it all

Noble also has a good relationship with Pryce as could be seen on the SL show this week, and coached Ellis at GB level. Obviously you don't pick a coach just because they know/get on with the players, but knowing the the current coach, the captain and one of the halfbacks and what makes them tick is surely an ideal scenario to make an instant impact

Not sure the same can be said of our current coach or the previous two.

True. He seemed to have difficulty recognising a fair few players featuring in the clips they were showing though. I did wonder how up to speed he actually is with today's game.

That's what happens when you don't get it right the first time. Or should we just stick with players that clearly aren't good enough?

Until the players contracts expire,we have no choice, as Pearson has stated there will be no more contracts severed.

As for players which are not good enough, Yeaman,Green,Feka,Howarth & Cunningham have to go -IMO

More importantly.Radford needs an attack coach to be employed, whether he gets one... is another matter.

Fixed that for you, Radford should be no-where near OUR club, he's a chancer and a poor one at that, no attack coach will help us with him at the helm I'm afraid. he's far too deluded and up himself already thinking he was anywhere near good enough or experienced enough to take on this job. Pearson must have being blackmailed by Radford to offer him the role..
