Forgive me for being stupid, but how?

hearing from the same person who told me about manu and turner months before it occurred that he will be here within 3 weeks.

A very good signing if it comes off. This kid has come through as a future star, representing Oz at all junior levels along the way. I think he's giving a lot up by coming over here, so he must be committed.

Was told by someone who knows these things that miller was signed but the club were unsure if he'd be here this season or next. Good news if it's this season although who would you drop for him currently?

As others have said, I won't crack open the Champagne until I see him running out in the Black & White, knowing our look he'll be investigated by immigration on his arrival, or will bust his hamstring getting off the plane!

but if it is true this is a massive boost to the club, to finally have a proper no7, to play alongside a proper no6 (Holdsworth) who we can finally build the team around would be a massive step in the right direction.

I was going to point that out, it would be very harsh to drop Richard Horne in his current form. That said I am sure we will have injuries to contend with at some point.

Harsh to drop Horne, but we have to think the future, Miller could be the man we build the team around for the net 5 years. Horne (despite his good form this year) realistically only has 2 years maximum as a starting SL player. As you say we will no doubt get injuries anyway, and there is no reason Horne can't do a job in other roles in the backs as squad cover.
