would be my choice. No reflection on Turner who was by all accounts one of our better players in France but I see Whiting as the better wing option and Turner covers plenty of positions from the bench as Whiting would have. FWIW listening to Agar tonight on Blunderside I reckon he might just drop Horne - he alluded to the fact that it wasn't that difficult to make changes this week after some of the performances in France.

I did think of that as an option but if Horne is as far out of form as people have been saying maybe Whiting is the better shout? Although he hasn't been pulling up any trees recently either I guess.

I see Turner as the same really. The other option is to play Lyne there again - don't think he'll bring Sharp back this week.

Still supports well and put in a good kick for the Briscoe try so there are moments from him.

I'm a big fan of Horne's and think he was doing OK/well up until the Cas game. I just think his form has dipped over a few weeks now and in a key position the team can't afford that. In that respect I don't think he should be treated any differently to say for example Will Sharp who was dropped due to form issues. In the past we haven't had options to drop halves but we have now and we should do so. Kicking out on the full on the first set under no pressure, getting caught with the ball and failing to beat the defensive line with attacking grubbers are not signs of a half in form and that was just in the last game. There are moments but he needs to be consistent - the performance of the whole team mirrors that.

Hope Horne stays in. Last time I saw him (Bulls), his support play was great and short kicking game is looking good too.

Which is why I would play him off the bench. Houghton will need a spell.

For me houghtons best games are when he plays the full 80....

I would drop Horney he has been pants and agar needs to show consitency when dropping players, so far he has not!

He gets too tired around the 50-60 min mark for me.

I agree he needs dropping, I would play Obst and Long together but I would have Horne off the bench. He could be useful there on Friday.

Although he is playing badly he is still the only player who supports, the last try against the Bulls being a perfect example.

And the week before with supporting Ogre's offload.

He's doing well, people just have an issue with him/wanting more signings.

I would use Turner off the bench, he has been playing well and deserves the shirt over Horney, he can cover the h/backs if needed, with Obst covering houghton if needed, plus Turner can step in at centre or wing if required.

Not at all, I don't have an issue with him, I have an issue with his ability and his cost. He's is doing the bare basics and getting adulation from some corners.

Thats Hulls problem, too many players who we can say that about.

I disagree that he is doing the bare basics. Watch the highlights of the Bradford game and he is involved in most of our attacks and created a lot of chances which we failed to convert - yet again. Even before that, I remember at Wakey he created more chances which we somehow bombed, his charge down to Briscoe's knock-on sticks in my mind.

Like I said I would drop him, he has not been good enough in recent weeks and I'd like to see Obst/Long have a go together.
