The difference with Saints is that they have a history of rectifying problems which is the main reason why they've won so many trophies. We'll just bumble along, finish in mid-table if we're lucky and then talk about how 2012 will be the big year!

Totally agree the amount of people i know who can't be ar$ed to go now and take it or leave it is untrue.

They are bored of the predictable dour rugby we serve up on a regular basis and will continue to do so until the head coach had been removed, and once you lose those fans there hard to entince back and they will find something else to fill the void.

We hear all this about Kath knows her rugby, however i must disagree because if she did we wouldn't have Rich in charge nice bloke yes, head coach no. We are a massive club but the fans ambition is not matched by the boards imo and until this regime is starting to be hit in the pocket with a drop in attendances nothing will change.

I think that's exactly the point. If you're going to do the "5 drives and a kick" (and sometimes you have to) it needs a good kick and and a good chase at the end of it.

I want to be entertained, winning is good, but I will except a team of player who give 100%. The brand we now play is boring, predictable and repetative and this has been the case for so many wasted years. This season is virtually over now, whatever happens now can see miracles happening and us stringing two wins back to back let alone a dozen so more. There are an aweful lot of fans that have either not renewed their passes or are now at the point of simply walking away.

They could of course return, they are less likely too these days then ever at any time in the past due to lots of factors.I want the club to be more like the one that looks after Saints, where the embrace and value the fans. I do object to being led by the nose, fed a diatribe of spin, bled white and then preached at about my loyalites.

If there is no movement on these issues soon , then you can start looking at a mega slide and with it the club will become virtually worthless.

Bradford went the same way, and now have to rebuild, same will happen here if they do not act quickly

Oh yeah, Saints have been up and down haven't they - between first and second spot in Super League! They're the most successful club of the Super League era and have been to five straight Grand Finals. Still, I must have been watching a 'different Saints' then.......

I honestly could not agree more. The only thing I would add is that Agar needs to use his bench better and use certain players in the right positions but I enjoyed reading that post.

Phelps arriving will help, although the bench problem is baffling.

He will, means we can get Whiting to centre and Phelps will be a much bigger threat when we have the ball.

Pretty much agree with both points. There are several problems at the moment that have been there for while without being properly addressed. IMO, last year showed that with an improved defence we were back to being a playoff team, but that we won't be any threat in them until we have both a kicking game and more commited bodies in attack. Because of this, though, it doesn't really matter which are the bigger problems, as it's still all of them that need to be fixed.

The worst was Houghton by the 60th minute was blowing and started giving penalties away, yet Washy warmed the bench all game!
