More to do with a semi Neanderthal rovers fan injuring my (then) 3 year old daugher actually. Thats why I've not been back since.

We all have anecdotal stories of this type of thing happening, these are idiots disguised as fans (whatever team they follow). If I had to boycott games at FC because of bad things happening (to my kids as well) I would not have been since 1986

there is feckall anecdotal about it I can assure you. I'd imagine your stadium manager (Who was to be fair very helpful and met me a few times after the event) still has the paper work somewhere.

I enjoy my visits to caravan park. Makes me realise how lucky I am not living in the 3rd world

Hope they got the pillock and banned them. All I am saying is that if we gave up after an unpleasant incident wherever we are, we would have to hide away forever. I had a child spat at by a drunken FC fan (a female in her 50's), which disgusted the FC fans who were walking along at the same time as the incident. Also, after the first KC friendly, myself, son in law and grandkids had to run a gauntlet of mindless scum in B&W shirts.

I dont pretend for one moment that its anything other than a tiny minority, which will not (and never will) stop me from going again.

FC fans really don't understand do they? Far from being annoyed at remarks about Rovers they take it as a sign as to just how far they have progressed in three years whilst Fc have imploded just as fast. For years Rovers have been the butt of FC jokes, generally finding it hard to refute the comments ... nowadays, FC are themselves the subject of ridicule and they really can't take it! Rovers fans find it amusing that FC think that such jokes hurt them ... they don't, why should they? However, tell an FC fan that PO sponsorship will end next year as they can't be associated with a sinking ship and watch their faces!!!

As for the Derby and the visits of away fans to Caravan Park, I have friends in West Yorkshire, both Cas and Huddersfield and also a friend who is a Warrington fan and after the treatment of away fans this season none of them will be going again.

My Warrington friend was half dragged out of her car by a scroat of a woman decked out in red and white screaming Warrington cheating scum into her face, whilst sat in traffic after the game, she was terrified.

Both the Cas and Shudds fans complained of being bombarded with stones and coins as they walked back to their coaches and said the stewards did nothing to help just herded them like sheep back to the buses.

Its so easy to make up and post a comment that the gullible then believe. In fact a bus driver once told me that he was told by a taxi driver who had stopped at the Walton Street traffic lights that he once picked a passenger who was a distant cousin of a friend of a lady who whilst coming out of the KC stadium after a derby match saw a FC fan threaten a rovers fan ....... there it must be true It's a post.
