I think Seymour could actually do well with Chase. We've never seen Seymour with a decent partner in the halves, & he's had to do it all himself so far.

He's done nowt, other than miss 7 tackles at Leeds

Doubt we'll see Chase play for us this season, just hope we don't get gazumped. The club could announce the signing pending a visa, if it's that concrete.
As for Brough, I doubt it will happen and I don't think that's a bad thing as I don't see Brough and Chase working.

I also had it confirmed today from a very creditable source that Chase is ours. The contract is sorted the only problem is his visa and his less than exemplary record off the field which is causing the issues.

With the Paea deal falling through and Moa's season ending in such a disappointing way I think I mentioned a while back that Pearson might have one last go at tempting him to stay. That was just me speculating though.

If it does come off then its fantastic news.

As for Chase, we are still confident of a deal being done before the deadline, but at worst he will be here next season.

The report in todays HDM could simply be "setting the scene" and creating "some drama" (not that any of us can hadle anymore at this stage) pre the official announcement of Chase signing?!?! It sells papers afterall?!
