Sit in would need/take a larger commitment by a lot more people and most are all mouth and no effort. All unhappy with the club but wont do anything about it, email is easier. The sit in was simply an idea, a lot of people have mentioned staging it outside the main entrance to the West Stand, a sit down protest, getting in the way of all the sponsors and corporates leaving etc.
Regardless of if 2000 don't renew it will be the year after before we see a change....next season will be a washout again.
Something I'd like to avoid if poss!

Why? They take the praise when they succeed, they should get flak when they underperform. As I've said elsewhere, it's the coaching staff's job to motivate them if their confidence is low. Clearly the coaching staff are underperforming too, so maybe we should just give them stick? |

When you don't have direct access to these people what else can you do. The staff and board need to know how we feel.
People dedicate a lot of time effort and money in to this club but it runs deeper than that hence why our predicament is hurting so much.
I did not enjoy or condone the booing of Thormans name, that was going too far but everything else in my opinion is fair game.

Whilst believing a sit in would give a few fans the opportunity to show their feelings consider the consequences if only 200 or 300 fans took part, the club and media would portray only a relatively few fans were discontented enough to protest, thus the other 95% are happy. And anyway if you were losing by a few going on 70 minutes wouldn't most opt for the early getaway anyway.
IMO the only option is to hit them in the pocket with reduced sales of passes and merchandise....but even then a few hundred would be tolerated so its a catch 22 folks.

Are you saying we should boycott the game? I am a passholder and never by anything from the stadium stalls, so my absence would make no impact into their revenue... but would they take notice if they crowd was say 7000? |
