What is Hull's fascination with army camps? The whole idea of pre-season is to refresh the body, make it bigger, stronger and faster. To do this you need plenty of the right foods and plenty of rest/sleep as well as the correct training.
The whole concept of these army camps is based around depriving the body of food and sleep. It is totally self-defeating for a Super League club to be embarking on one in pre-season.

Didn't Huddersfield do something similar last preseason?

Looks good, had to bob up and down as the crossbar on the posts was in the way but if it had been a league/cup game i am sure i would have moved around for a better view. The only downside i could see was the bottlenecks caused at half and full time as people went to the toilets or left the ground.

Long hard season ahead, and we will be very challenged to make the 8 IMO.

Mate your team destroyed FC off the park. No excuses. Anyone who watches a game knows Fc are either not trying or abysmal. I'll go with the latter.

Team bonding, character building, rallying around others when mates are down, pushing your body to the limits when hungry & tired. Works for some of the toughest people in the world, but you seem to know its not right for pro sportsmen.

i do believe,that when radford was appointed as coach,he said something about players who in his opinion,are not trying,will not be getting picked for the first team, so what happens now?i listened to the game on my laptop,because it`s too difficult to get to featherstone from edinburgh at anytime.i have my season pass for this year and i sincerely hope we play better in the league this year,or next year i will just pick the matches i want to see.

some fans on here are simply burying their heads in the sand....some are being honest. in that first half there were enough first team players on the field to be too good for Fev, but they were totally dominated in the pack and the halves. Moore controlled the game and those two half backs you have are going to be a major concern for your club this season......miller was dire last season and that rankin is no different......

We needed an experienced coach not throw someone in the deep end just because he has a Hull accent and a front tooth missing.

Luckily london, bradford and wakey are in a mess otherwise we'd be in a relegation battle.

Some of them kids are 6 months out of school, playing against real men who are experienced RL players, fev was up for it from the first minute we was not but im not going to say im worried about the season ahead just yet.
