Played well but we need our first team to compete properley, we lack pace in the middle of the pitch, Longy and Horne can't get back quick enough.

In hindsight not a good kick option from Berro, although he was at least trying something different.

Defence looks tired now. A great effort but just too big an ask with the available players.

Berrigan has given his heart and soul tonight, among many others. Including Hall. Thinking Houghton, Briscoe and Fiz have been very good as well.

Pretty pleased with the performance and effort tonight however our problems in getting points on the board in the second half of matches continues to be a worry.

I know what you mean but it also concerns me that we're satisfied with an 18 point defeat. Our squad simply isn't good enough (by a long way).

Not a bad result imho.

Those lads worked damn hard tonight. But no matter how hard they work, if you have no half backs all the effort takes you no where. How many years are we going to continue with this situation? A couple of injuries and we're knackered. Other teams seem to cover for this situation, why can't we?
I'm maybe a silly old git but it breaks my heart to see those lads work so hard for nout.

To be fair we were missing both halfs and our full back and playing away against a top 2 team who were able to rest two players.

So you think with all the players we had out, compared to what they had wasn't a top 4 side performance? playing with almost a youth 1-7 besides Berro.(i think)
