Agar praises Halls peformance against Leeds in that article and is almost saying prove that wasnt a one off and you may get into the 17 against Wigan. Hall only played 2nd half and probably wants to play this weekend.

I think you are seeing something that is not actually there on this occasion.

On that basis we will see how Halls attitude is on Sunday. If as suggested he does have a bad attitude he wont want to be there. If his attitude is correct he should be the star of the show.

Think all players will have wanted to play at weekend after having 4 months of training grounds and gym work. I see Thackray and Manu are also starting to get a bit more match time under their belts as well.

Agars just wants all his first team players to have had a good stint on the pitch before Wigan looking at things.

I dont know where this idea of craig hall having a bad attitude came from i have had the pleasure of knowing this lad all his life,His attitude and charecter should be a example to others

personally i think alot of opinons on players etc on this site are not at all based on fact,gossip and inuendo and plain old bull seems to be the order of the day with alot of posts

Wouldnt disagree. There are also the people however that do genuinly know people and have experienced the behabiour that is talked about. At the end of the day though most know nothing.

Many I guess will have this attitude idea because of his perceived "Attitude" last season when he was dropped to the under 21's!

I think we should give him a chance this season ans d see what happens. Or better still take note of all the expert Dobbins on here who not that long ago when they thought he was going to be signed by them hailed him as the best thing in the centre in the City.

TBF on the one occasion I met him he came across as a really nice bloke and his family were spot on as well.

you can't coach out natural ability and flair and why would you want too it was this flair that made him the clubs top try scorer last season even after missing quite a few games...

It cant really its just a term, a player can be coached and encouraged not to play to there strenghs though, I get the impression that Agar would rather see Hall become a player who could perform solidly week in and week even if it meant offsetting the matchwinning talents that Hall has, becuase it looks like Briscoe, Horne and Byrne are ahead of Hall in centre pecking order.

Agar had some encouragement for Hall today on KCFM. Was asked whether Byrne would play FB on Friday and said it wasn't decided and Hall was definitely in contention. Mentioned he'd had a disappointing end to last season but had shown excellent attitude and application in pre season and played himself into contention.

But the other day Agar was saying that his 13 was picked but there were places up for grabs on the bench. Don't expect to see Hall starting but would hope he gets a spot somewhere and I do think full back could be his position one day.

Think we should take the gamble and have Hall at fullback. His attacking skills are brilliant in broken play as he proved against leeds. It is a gamble though as he may be prone to a couple of errors. (so is our first choice FB mind)
