50 points in 2 consecutive away games. Not sure when (of if) that has happened.

Surprisingly it's as recently as 2011. We won 58-18 at Crusaders and 50-18 at Cas in rounds 25 and 26 of Agar's last season.

I hope the rumours about watts and particularly thompson leaving aren't true. thompson definitely should stay as he has been in our top 3 forwards this season and will only get better IMO. watts has the talent but needs nurturing.

Having said that, if we do get taylor then we probably have too many props

I repeat, we have only had our @rses handed to us once this season and that was at the hands of the Grand Final and CC winners.
I little less ineptitude (Widnes, Wakey at the KC) and a stroke more good fortune and we are sitting more than comfortably in a play-off position.

Wakey at home was a really big setback,a win in France will get us back on track.

Not too worried about next week after winning last night. Tough ask to go there in the heat and come away with the points so as long as we don't get battered or pick up any injuries then we can focus on a run of games where we can hopefully pick up some points

No, but it would be interesting to see which halfs have played in each match this year. I don't think we've picked up many points with miller and rankin together

Possibly not but to lay the blame purely at Miller's feet is taking simplicity to extremes.

Regards Miller I wont mince my words, I think hes , he was last year, he has been this year and there is no evidence to say that hes ever going to take the massive leap and become even decent. You can probably count the number of good things hes done in an FC shirt on two hands. The quicker we get rid the better

Which means jack e as the performance of the forwards has more of an influence on the game than the halves by themselves. Not to mention whom the opposiation were and how crap the coach has been with selections/tactics.
So on the bare facts above we have
Rankin with 5 wins, Miller with 4 wins and Horne with 4 wins, not so clear cut eh?

Disagree with you. It was the forwards that laid the platform by smashing Widnes to bits. Even Miller would of had a field day in that match.

Saints have been beaten heavily more than us this season yet sit top of the league it's such small margins ,I believe we are on the right track nxt seasons recruitment is so vital, get it right and we can be top 4 get it wrong again and we struggle along as we have for a number of years now

The opposite is also true that unless the halves are performing then the forwards are unlikely to be able to get on top. Decent organisation and kicking game goes a long way to helping the forwards get on top

Just seen the tries on the SL show. Support play looked good and plenty of players hitting holes. horne looked like he was well involved
