Regarding today's squad.

Todays Squad: T. Briscoe, Bowden, Crooks, Ellis, Houghton, Kent, Lynch, Lyne, Manu, Martin, McKinnon, Moa, Nicklas, Pitts, Radford, Sharp, Tickle, Whiting.

Normal Starting line up; McKinnon; Sharp, Martin, Yeaman, T Briscoe; Horne, Seymour; O'Meley, Houghton, Lynch, Manu, Tickle, Westerman.

Replacements: Moa, Turner, Whiting, Aspinwall.

We had 8 of them players starting today... From the team that we was on a good run with, I added westerman on that list because he would be one of the players we would start with outside of this injury spell, we have done with out him for a few weeks now though.

Point i'm making is we should still have enough to put up a good performance, at least give them a game, and that's why it's embarrassing, and shocking today...

The players did not turn up, Wigan scored on every opportunity *when they wanted to basically*, and we made so many unforced errors, this has nothing to do with injuries, sorry there's no excuse.

Even Gwilym loves him.

Think what was expected with team we had out, all these kids wont make it but if we can get 2 or 3 we done well. Kent looked good again, Im not sure Nicko will cut it at this level

Besides what's not to love

Regardless of how many first teamers we had out and who we were playing, losing 56 - 12 at home in front of 10,000 home fans is not acceptable. I don't think a big deal needs to be made out of it, although they is some on here who take losing badly and will think today is a benchmark for the direction we are heading which clearly it is not.

There is no doubt about it Gentle and the coaching staff will be embarrassed by this and I predict a tough two weeks training ahead for the boys. Rumour has it they could be 7 players back for the Leeds game which will be a timely boost.

Fully agree. Today was a shambles and the injuries are no excuse for capitulating defensively as we did last week and today. 100+ points against in 2 home games in a week is poor by any measure

I thought Nicko did well considering he's been in the 20s for a good few weeks and his injury last year can't have done him many favours in his confidence with the physical aspect, agree about Kent he looks the real deal, Crooks didn't do too bad, needs to bulk up a bit but they always do at that age.
