Why have we gone to the effort of getting Berrigan off quota if we're going to let him go?

He got himself off quota.

I have no problem whatsoever if Berrigan leaves, as long as we have one or two outstanding players already lined up to replace him.

Let's face it, he is almost certainly our biggest earner and rarely has he justified it on the pitch. It would gives us an opportunity to spend that salary in a much more effective way.

As somebody said earlier, we could get a lot more bang for our buck.

We could do that without a change of playing staff.

I could only guess he'd be higher paid for the first three years and on a reduced contract for 2011 but with some very clever clauses by his agent added.
