I dont know why but I thought if you had players at your club through exemption you couldn't sign anymore "quota" players until your total number including the exemptions was below the maximum? I may have just made that up though  |

Now that you come to mention it, I do seem to remember something about it. Either that or something where if you brought in new players the exemption wouldn't apply for a further renewal. I.e. if, say, Gene signed a 1-year extension he'd be exempt, but if they brought in a new player for next season a further extension for Gene would have him as a non-fed. |

Yeah it was something along those lines. Probably been scrapped now though because Rovers weren't happy with the rules and would just break them anyway |
