Clarky read your question out word for word and James Rule pretty much said that effectively by paying to get in and buying shirts etc fans have a share in the club anyway. Im sure someone that remembers it better than me can elaborate?

Thought thats how it would have worked but didnt want to guess at that in case Clarky had read rlfans and found the question himself.

| Why are some people bothered about the fact they can't buy shares in the club? As i missed most of the forum, and only caught a few minutes of it online, what did Agar say to them after the Leeds performance?

all he said was that he told the players that he thought some of the out of contract players were not pulling there weight and that whiting and moa were the two to put in the most of there effort to earn a contract

He basically questioned the players desire to play for the club and challenged those out of contract to earn a new deal, he went on to say that Whiting and Moa showed the passion and commitment to the club needed and were therefore handed new deals.
Obviously those that didn't (in agar's opinion) were shown the door.

| I was impressed last night and thought it was a great well thought out fans forum. I liked Agar's honesty. I thought most of the questions were very good and the panel answered them openly and honestly. I loved Fitz's & O'Meley's interview they came across really well and it was great to see them both in the new home & away kits.

No date was given last night but i've heard around the 20th November. I assume they will put it on HullFCtv, look out for it, it was a good watch.

| Great stiring rendition of 'Old Faithfull'. Very positive. My only slight concern was his obvious reluctance to consider Washy or Whiting for 13.

Yes James was singing along was great to see, Longy thought it was hilarious he seemed to be amazed to hear old faithful that close too. He was sat with his hands behind his head with a grin as wide as the humber.

| I CBA to read the thread from the beginning, I tried to listen but KCFM website wouldn't stream (not an uncommon problem).
What were they key/new things said, and what were the "surprises"?

you ask people not to get into a slagging match and then call james rule a f****** t***.
and nearly every other post you make, wether its about a share holders scheme or bringing peter sterling over on a ambassador role.
from where i'm sat the club, off the field, is in its strongest position since i can remember (A grade licence and another year of profits would add to my claim).
i'm glad there isnt a share holders sheme to stop morons like you having a say in the club.

| Could not get KCFM so never listened but hopefully there will be a podcast or something?
Have read the thread and in the main it seems to be really positive. Only negative thing I found was not ruling out playing a prop at 13 but tbh early in the season (first 4/5 games) quite a few sides do operate this system as the weather etc is not ideal for playing expansive rugby.

To be fair to Agar, he isn't going to give the rest of SL a heads up as to his plans, and he hasn't had the squad together yet to make any decisions.

I passed all the questions from on here to Clarkey and yours was second on the list. It was read out word for word, and the reply ws pretty much as said above. It was not for me a satisfactory answer really, because it did not addrss your issues on a share issue, but with no one there to follow it up with a supplemental queston they passed on. Written questions are all very well but I was starting to think that because the questioner cannot come back to the answerer if the answer is not satisfactory then you are better being there. But at least it was read out!

| Initially I wasn't going to be able to go but my plans got cancelled at the last minute and I managed to get hold of some tickets. As you would expect the mood seemed to be very positive and everybody said the right things. I think everyone would agree that we now have the balance of the squad right and it now comes down to the coaching and the gameplan. I notice nobody has picked up on the comment from Agar that he has basically given Longy free reign to run the attacking side of things, even making the comment that he is still a young coach and therefore needs all the help he can get. This for me was actually a big positive and shows that Agar is willing to recognise when he needs help and isn't too proud to ask for it. He also stated that we wouldn't be using the same old system of one HB working the left and one working the right, rather Longy will have his hands on the ball far more often. Whilst it was dissapointing to hear he would probably be using a prop at 13 its not the end of the world if Tansey is joining the line from FB more often.
