| anybody going to this game?
fly out friday morning, looking forward to seeing how we go against a pack, which in my opinion will be stronger than wires', if they get on top can't see us winning, we will need another good kicking game to keep turning their pack around and have them coming out of their own 20 metre line

| Not trolling. But I said to a mate of mine that Hull had got Cats at the right time what with all there injuries, I thought they'd struggle and be playing catch up for the top 8, but after seeing SL fulltime ill hold my hand up. They looked great, very strong up the middle, should be a good hard game for your guys.

| Can't see us coming away with anything tbh. Against the biggest team in the comp which has got even bigger with the signings of Pryce and Anderson. Even though they haven't got any recognised wingers a back line off something like, Greenshields, Bosc, Sa, Raguin, Millard, Pryce, Dureau is still an impressive backline.

Be a good test for our forwards, if we can contain or match them it will give me a lot of confidence for the coming season. Having the much more competitive game this weekend may well benefit us more than the stroll in the park Catalans had.
As I have said before improving on performances at this stage of the season is more important than the wins, plus we have an easy run of fixtures coming up after this one, with London/Salford/Wakefield/Widnes/Castleford and Bradford to play (Yes we have Saints sandwiched in there as well) and all games we should be looking to win without too much trouble.

Yeah if we match them in the pack we'll be ok but tbh i cant see it. They're too big in the pack and always set the backs a platform to work the magic.
As i've said plenty of times on here London have a very good team this year and will surprise a few and i think they'll make the top 8.

| I'd go with O'Carroll in for Turner as most have. We need to match them in the pack as that will be the key to getting anything from this trip. I reckon they'll be too strong though.
Not going as a)too cold, b) not planned it so would be too expensive now and c) too much hassle from our own fans last year when we lost. Hopefully we'll get another road game next year (Montpellier please). Good luck to those who are going - have a good trip

| Probably in the top 3 hardest games of the season and will need to improve on Sunday to stand a chance to come away with a result.
Henderson is their key man in my eyes (so under rated) and lazyness around the ruck and he will rip us apart.
Our best chance of winning though is probably moving the ball around looking for offloads to try and take some gas out of their dominant pack.

| O'Carroll for Turner is a no brainer if he's fit.
I can't see us winning tbh but one thing in our favour is we might be a bit more battle hardened. If we stay with them for the first 20 mins then we might grown in confidence and put them under some pressure.

London have brought in some good players, however we are at home and we should be looking to win the game regardless of who they have brought in.

| Wouldn't a bench of O'Meley, O'Carroll, Aspinwall and Whiting be a little unbalanced?
Ellis to cover 7 and 9?

We started with O'Meley and Lynch on Sunday with Moa on the bench, so Moa, O'Carroll, Aspinwall and Whiting would be this week's offering

True but Whiting could cover the back positions if needed (whether Gentle wants him to is up to him). Can't see either of those 4 dropping out for Turner just to have potential cover

| If O'Carrol is fit I'd be tempted to start with him and Moa and maybe even Aspinwall with Manu on the bench. We need to unsettle their forwards early and we need as much aggression as possible from the off. Manu hasn't looked as strong as last year yet , maybe coming off the bench and playing fewer minutes would help.

As could Aspinwall, he started his career on the wing remember.

| We certainly need to cut the errors out against Cats. If we get enough possession and move their big forwards around and make them defend we have a good chance. If we regularly gift possession we will struggle to hold them.
O'Carroll in for Turner if fit which I strongly hope he is.

| Quote ="Mrs Barista"Interesting one, this.
Catalans missing a few, I think, but just basically had a training game at the weekend, so will be fresher.
We're still missing Heremaia and Seymour, maybe O'Carroll back, tougher game on Sunday, but a better run-out?
Think this will be a better marker than the Warrington game, and it's to our advantage to play this match in cooler temperatures than some teams will do.
Think he'll go with the same squad, O'Carroll for Whiting/Turner if fit. Thoughts?'"
Well said, think playing in similar temps to we have at present will be a massive plus for us as we are aclimatised already , Based on the early offerings Ocarrol is a must on the bench, he is one powerful kid, never really took much notice of him before but he has got my attention now !!!

| We have more of a chance now with Bentham as ref .
He let the game flow. This season that could be our strong point
A few more games and the fans will come flooding back

But we were too strong for them in the middle too
Hopefully with O'Carroll in the middle and another impressive forward performance we can win that battle and give the backs another good platform to work with.
As for dark horses this season, London for me will do better then last season.
