I always feel a bit sorry for those who move on to Rovers after playing for Hull. It's like eating every meal at Bob Carvers after years of dining at Ceruttis. Phelps be warned.

Towards the end of that Season Motu was way out playing Briscoe, hence why Briscoe ended up playing on the wings. |

Can't agree. Briscoe was out of favour, simple as that. Motu's continuous selection at fullback was more to do with Sharp's determination to put him there, come what may. In fact, if anything, hammering his square corners into the round hole of fullback was detrimental to Tony - that "high-ball" nightmare shattered his confidence. |
