30 points scored at the home of the SL champs, with a patched up side containing 2nd choice half-backs & losing Berrigan early in the game. That is a fairly impressive performance all things considered. With some bodies back on board, and home advantage, next Saturday may well be an entirely different proposition. exactly my thoughts, when Leeds went 16-0 up I was worried but credit to the lads for digging in, and scoring 5 tries,not many teams will do that against Leeds with players missing in KEY positions

I cannot believe some of these posters.
IMHO, we did far better then what I were expecting before the kick off. If we manage to get most of our preferred team on the pitch next week, then I really think we can win it.

Injuries have undoubtedly played a part today, especially with our 6,7,9 and 13 missing.

But the bigger picture is that most teams have had injuries and until the derby we'd been relatively fortunate in this respect. We are 6th, joint with Rovers and Wakefield, and I'd say this is about our level. Leeds are below us and will undoubtedly finish higher than 9th. I'd say we are an average team, rather than definitely a below average team. The 2 big questions for me at this stage are:
1) What exactly is Long's injury status? Most of us said that our season depended on his fitness and it's looking pretty gloomy if that's the case.
2) We've seen some really good individual contributions with varying levels of consistency thus far this season from Fitz, Manu, Tickle, O'Meley, Horne, Long, Whiting. Agar's job is to get the best out of each every week with an appropriate gameplan. What are the chances of this happening?

I think we did better than expected, when we went 16-0 down I feared the worst, the boys fought back and to put 5 tries past Leeds at Headingly with 5 KEY players missing is no mean feat.
lets hope tickle et al are back next week for the rematch at the KC

I didnt expect us to win today especially when i saw the team sheet, but take my hat off to the lads they did better then i expected i thuoght here we go when we went 16-0 down but we showed good resiliance to get back into the game, and the bounce of the ball and the decisions went leeds's way sounded like they got away with a couple of contensious decisions.

All in all im confident we can win next week.
