I'm really looking forward to this, especially after seeing the screen shots and functionality. Still, i'll see what the response is like in Oz where i believe it's already out.

But it's a good change playing an RL game on the Wii, but still bit confused about how the controls work for it, e.g. kicking to touch?

Or what if you're playing as Leeds and want to bitch to the ref, what buttons would it be?!

There was a thread on their forum about whether there should be fighting in the game and how much control you should have over the fight. Not sure if it's made the game but controlled aggression would be good.

That would be amazing, no offence but I'd be trying to destroy Calderwood as soon as the game kicked off.







Think I read before though that in RL (and RU presumably) games they'll never do fighting on them because (in their eyes) it would set a bad example to children playing the game. Guessing it's for the same reason Fifa got rid of the diving option on their game, even though it was very funny.

However, re fighting, I'm pretty sure you can still do it on the NHL games, so don't see the harm in putting it on an RL game personally.
Maybe be a bit too far having a 'Carry out Pitch Invasion' option though.

Remeber an Ice Hockey game on Mega drive were they had fighting allowed, it was great

Well the one I recall was (I think) an NHL game around 93/94, you got into a fight and did battle until one guy got knocked to his ar$e.

They still do. it turns into ringside boxing with a power bar

Really looking forward to this game coming out, having pre-ordered it back in December. Waited until the schedule release of 18 March only for Grainger Games to tell me it 's not out until April 9th. Now, in classic London bus style, I've waited years for a Rugby League game (didn't have the relevant consoles for the previoous games that there have been) and now suddenly TWO come along as I've just seen this one for the PSP being written about on the Super League site. www.superleague.co.uk/article.php?id=17004 a) Anyone bought this yet? b) is it any good? c) Is it available from any HUll-based shop?

Had a dabble at the psp one last week it's ok I guess. Was hoping for something approaching madden but got something approaching fifa 95.
