How did hulls warm weather go this year after pearson said how beneficial it was last season ?

We've not gone yet. It's not really warm weather, but 13 degrees tomorrow is quite balmy. Clearly with Sandercock confirming 1 week of overseas training is worth 6 weeks in the UK we'll be on the back foot until April, but there's a nice pool at least.

Do you go abroad for your holidays,tunstall for instance ?

Yes, I go abroad for my holidays, ideal if you want to play ping pong by the pool at a holiday resort. For professional development though the facilities on offer are more important than location. If they are ones used by the highest level professionals in the country, clearly that's a good thing.

Depends who you listen to I know, and not everyone is the same. I have heard and read some tripe though. Rovers squad is not all that, and yeah, you could go well but you also could struggle.

Re away kits, I like ours in the flesh, yours looks great on screen, not seen yet in the flesh. Our home shirt probably edges yours, but I like the in built sponsors on your home shirt. Therefore, assuming the same is true of the away one, yours probably wins. Shirt wise, for a first time I am waiting for the specials, to see what goes

Us and Rovers have both done warm weather training the last fews years, hasn't done either team much good has it?

Pretty sure Wigan usually do their camps in this country.

If you think about it practically the big advantage of a warm weather camp is the time spent on ball handling and set plays. The very last thing required for the first three months of the SL season. Never understood the argument for the camp abroad, much better for new Aussie signings to acclimatise to the weather here ready for the start of the season and then if time allows go abroad for a few days later in the season, especially if you have been knocked out of the cup.

By the look of Keating this year, I'd say you need another pre-season camp, looks more like a forward.

Hudgell certainly feels confident and thinks you have a squad good enough for the top 5.

Warm weather camps are useful in that it's undisturbed weather for ball handling and to not have to rush through when you need to stop and talk through etc. Not good when it's snowing etc here.
But in hulls case they've found a solution indoors that's got lots of other excellent facility's
I've talked to a few players before and a week long camp is long. Legs due to double sessions tend to ache and get stiff after a few days and by end of the week your trying to get info into fatigued minds and bodies.
3days like this and then a re cap after Christmas sounds smart planning to me. RadFord taking his experiences as a player it would seem.
Also I cannot understand the logic in rovers doing a warm weather camp before Christmas!! Why do all that work to then have time off over Christmas and training in the worst of the weather in January and February when you're most likely to miss sessions due to snow etc!

we've tried Warm weather camps for years and they haven't worked so may as well give this different pre-season a try.

aside from 2009 I can't recall us making a good start to any recent season, and that ended up being a horror show from the 6th game onwards! even in our 2006 season as runners up we started poorly and Kear was sacked. If anything in the last few years we've seemed to have peaked about half-way through the season and then dropped off again, missing the boost of a good start and the 'glory' of a goo finish

you've got to aim high I think, if you don't then what's the point of turning up? fair enough you have to be realistic with it and he has in a sense. If he'd have come out and said well finish in the top 4 and win the CC I would have been shaking my head, but his statement is a fair reflection
