It's extremly difficult to tell. It's a flat pass and it seems to simultaneously hit the hull player as he goes in to tackle as well as the catalan player wrapping an arm round it. Theres no conclusive evidence to say he knocked on.

Both do to be fair. The humidity is very high apparently and that will sap energy from even the fittest players.
