I've always wanted to see my club involved in a WCC, but It sounds slightly disorganised this year.
Wouldn't want our involvement to be to the detriment of the forthcoming season.

was looking forward to the opportunity to see fc test themselves against the nrl teams, but now its just turned out to be a complete farce!
thanks to the poor showing of the last couple of seasons from certain superleague teams the nrl clubs now seem to think its not worth it and who can blame them?

Exactly this. It's a shame, but by the sounds of it there are going to be too many fixtures for teams to play next year anyway, so it may be a blessing in disguise.

Latest rumour seems to be that us and wire could go to Aus for the WCC and play our opening Super League game down there.

No mention if we do that whether it will be classed as our home game or wires

That wouldn't surprised me although I'm not sure he'll compliment Sneyd. I'd like to see more of a running off half like Myler.

Probably just rumour, but was told at old Trafford, that ratchford was coming to us next season ??

As we generally play our halves split, Sneyd being on the left and whoever on the right, shouldn't we be looking for a well-rounded half that's neither one thing or the other, but does everything to a decent standard?

If our halves played predominantly as first & 2nd receiver, then we'd be looking more to halves which compliment each other (e.g. a 'running' half with an 'organising' half).

After seeing Sneyd in Black & White for 2 seasons now I would say Myler a good shout for a half that would be compliment Sneyd.

For me Sneyd although he has all he facets to his game for me he is not a player suited to a running type of game he seems more adept at organistion, calling the plays etc. Not having a suitable partner or foil if you like for Sneyd is what hampers our play at times. Ratchford is another player who has been mentioned and again would be a could player to pair with Sneyd.

Wonder if Wire paid upfront for Lineham and Westerman? Maybe collateral to play with for a signing on fee?

Some of the posters on the wire board are not happy with Ratchford unless he's playing 6 or at centre every week. Given they have Russell, Sandow, Gidley and Patton it's debatable how badly they need him.

I like Ratchford , I think he'd be a great addition to us , Maybe the chance for him to play 6 regularly might temp him over to this side of the rocks .

I wouldn't be disappointed with Stefan Ratchford at all. He's fast, good hands, reads the game well and attacks the line a bit. We definitely need a proven six. This player I think would be the last piece of the jigsaw. We've had a great 2016 but we need a new half to kick on in 2017.

Could count as `'magic weekend', then we could have a week off since our regular opponents aren't with us any more.

Sounds like a good idea, I'm not a fan of the magic weekend, in fact I'd bin it altogether, but this seems like a reasonable compromise, reducing the number of scheduled fixtures to the same as everyone else.

Just signed Crosby so they will be heavy on props, don't think I would want to see watts leave at any price
