Agreed, gifted St's 3 scores. Cut out the daft errors, calm it down a bit and stop killing ourselves with penalties & will do much better.

In fairness re penalties we got a few near the end they're given away when under pressure. We need to be crisper and make fewer handling errors - that in turn means we have the ball more which in turn means we defend less. You're more likely to concede pens when defending so the less you can do the better.

We came from behind tonight and that should seriously build confidence. Takes some doing at a place like saints.

Threw a point away tonight. 5 minutes to go 4th tackle right under the sticks 10 meters out is the best it ever gets for a drop goal and we throw it out wide and knock on. Pretty much every other team in the league would have taken the 1 point and walked away with a win. Commited and spirited performance but with a bit more game brains we'd have taken both points instead of one.

Great we've such a potential talent to bring in, but a real shame for crookes if out, done great so far and been proving a few wrong.

That was actually a point lost for Hull.

You completely dominated the last 20 mins with Saints struggling to get past the 40 metre line. Hull were then returning the ball for 60-70 metres in a set of 6.

How and why Hull didnt set it up for a drop goal is beyond me. I can only think that you had figured that Saints were that shot to pieces that we would roll over and die and therefore a try was a formality.
When you did attempt drops it was pretty much an afterthought after a move had broken down.

Galea was awesome in defence... He gives us the edge on the left flank against every team with his astute passing and his eye for the oppositions breaks, 100% every game , what more do you want?
Tonights performance was fantastic from the boys. You couldn`t have asked for more. Holdsworth is looking special and Horney is like a new kid on the block. Johnson is the snip of the season for me along with McDonnell who I give the MOM to. At 22 all we had them on the rack and with time on the clock we ran the ball rather than took the one pointer, that will cost us later on.
