Tonight’s defeat is the only time I’ve seen Agar with a frustrated look on his face.

Apart from a couple of stupid handling errors I don’t think we did much wrong, I just think Wigan were sh t hot.

Their defence was awesome.

They came with a plan and came with no fans.

We looked battered and bruised even before a ball was kicked.

I aint going to harp on about wanting Agar out as simply it aint gunna happen, however for those delluded enough to think this guy is the right man in charge to take us to the next level are sadly mistaken.

Yes the players missed tackles, dropped balls, made basic errors but it's the coach who sets the tone for our performance and frankly it was inept.....just like him (Agar), his coaching skills, style of play and tactics!

A famous coach once said "Winning starts on Monday" . I think agar takes Mondays off

Agar's tenure is fast becoming that of John Kears.......average general performances, the odd 'up for it game / performance' amongst some outright hammerings and failure to deal with our shortcomings in attack and defence.

No surprise really. I don't think agar has ever worked under a top class coach or within a top class environment so you can't really blame him. He can only implement what he knows and what he's seen elsewhere. It's why maguire is doing so well, he's just implementing the model from melbourne into wigan

Thats right the ref was to blame for all 46 of thier points and the injuries meant we were never going to score.

We could still be playing right now and we'd still be scoreless.

The better side that couldn't score a point and conceded 22, hmmmm, who writes such blinkered carp? We had a good bit of pressure in the first half for about 10 minutes or so, yet never looked like scoring.

No. I commented at the time to those around me that we could have been there all night and not scored. We had no idea in attack and their defence was brilliant.

I could cope with all of that, but what really stood out for me was when we were awarded a scrum in their thirty early in the second half and the players were strolling to it like we were 20 points up. That's not the sign of a side that's chasing the game - a side that's fully committed. I'd have liked to have seen them running to form the scrum in a bid to at least get some points on the board and salvage some pride. As it was, they were just running the clock down.

We were outplayed, given absolutely nothing by the officials and had six out. Could have been a lot worse - disappointed yes, surprised - no.
