Don't agree with the Seymour knockers. He's not world class by any means but he's a clever scrum-half and thats something we've missed for years. He's a good defender, he's got a good kicking game and he's accountable for probably 70% of our try assists this season. Lets not forget he's played with about five different halfbacks so far and is playing behind a beaten pack in almost every game. I imagine he is on a fair wedge but thats down to the previous regime, not the current one. With a stand-off who compliments him, and a good set of forwards to lay a platform, I think he'll be a revelation.

I agree with all this. Brett Finch was not startling in his first season for Wigan. I reckon Seymour could be as influential as Finch is, with a good half back to help out & some forwards on the front foot.

The Dobbins can barely afford the squad they have now. They are not in a position to be adding another substantial salary to their payroll. Unless Dobson's leaving.
I think any clubs interest in Holdsworth would have disappeared when Smith joined Wigan. Salford won't lose their other half back.
