Well it's quite easy, he's not very good at all. However a one year deal is decent in terms of proving himself in a different league, and much preferred to the 3/4 year deals sometimes handed out to these type of players.

YouTube highlight videos are never really a good indicator of a players ability, but that video does show that he has plenty of pace.

So now our back options look like this:

FB: Shaul, Naughton (?)
W: Lineham, Talanoa, Lancaster
C: Sa, Michaels, Yeaman, Logan (who knows what will happen with Crooks and Arundle).
SO: Pryce, Rankin, Abdull
SH: Sneyd, HTW

A lot of those guys play more than one position aswell. I'm quite happy with that really.

Fast can pass can tackle got over 100 nrl games only 27 a yr deal/2 depending on performance n appearance. A player whos been part of queensland squad's n has had time out on compassionate grounds so sounds like is coming for a fresh start/change of scenery sounds like the combo for a potentially great signing. More reasons for optimism regarding an overseas signing than a lot that come over these days!

I think the club need to take Ralphy's passport off him when he arrives and give it to Curly to look after if his MOSt ANNOYING HABIT is true.

Don't need to see the contract. It's pretty obvious what the club having an option for another year means.

My understanding of the one year option in the clubs favour is that the club don't have any obligation to give him a second year, but the player can't look elsewhere until the club say they don't want him. Gives us first refusal on him basically.

I may be wrong but that is what I have always thought it meant.

I'm sure you're right and I really don't see how anyone could think it means anything else.
