Still unsure what to expect from Hull Gentle said he needed to close the gap from our best and worse displays yet they are as wide as ever.

Only thing I'm concerned about is the crowd reaction if we play badly and lose. It's not unheard of for people to have a few sherbets at Catalans and last time I was there, there were a few scuffles between Hull fans based on the result and the amount of wine gums some had consumed.

I've never seen any bother there. Although I'm generally too pished to notice.

It wasn't a massive punch up, just a bit of pushing and shoving and verbals, but me and the Mrs were caught up in the middle of it. Never seen it at a game there before and not been since.

Providing Hull get passed Catalans I reckon the RFL would be delighted for Hull to get to the final due to the number they would bring. The CC final has had a lot of empty seats for the last few years, mainly due to Leeds fans not showing (thats not a dig, just an observation)

Think Holdsworth will play but Horne isn't fit yet, Green didn't have much game time against Hudds so has he got a knock if so think Johnson will play. The other place is between Galea and Whiting I would go for Whiting but PG will pick Galea.

Bonus if Holdsworth is fit, didn't think he would be in the running, still not convinced but guess we will know more tomorrow. Think Horne will play and would put him straight in, he could have a big game. Good news also that Ellis is clear to play.

Horne will start with Miller, I'm pretty sure. Gentle basically said this would be the case in his post-match interview on Sunday.

I'd go with this for this game. I like Miller see some good things from him already but Holdsworth Horne has a bit more cohesion to it. Westerman has been struggling to make an impact and I've quite liked some of the work Galea's put in the last couple of games.

Dont worry, Gentle will secure the eight position for us come the end of the season and the whole of SL will quake in its boots!

We are likely to be at full strength, Catalan will not be.

This is the game that PG was harping on about prior to the four losses.

No excuses, I don't want to hear about what we have done in training blah blah blah.

Nothing less than a win will do or for me or the coaching situation needs reassessing at the end of the season.

I think with there injuries and suspensions this will be your best chance your going to get to beat them
