At times the brand of Wigan play is fantastic, id take Mcguire brand of rugby any day of the week!

attacking they are a different class, but when they tackle, or gang tackle no! funny how players like lima have been warned more than others or banned for their style of tackling, which comes from the coach!

As a rovers fan I still feel cheated by the inept referee tonight (God knows he has done it to us) he tells the Wigan players to get onside & not one moved or was penalised & though they got less penalties they should have had a man in the bin at least 3 times, every FC half break they were penalised for slowing down & totaly disrupting the momentum & that is an automatic yellow card in my book. Not even going to go on about the dissalowed try against Obst.

Moa seemed to be pointing out one of their players, I wonder if he felt his injury was deliberate?

Despite your league positioning I don't think you are too far away from being one of the top SL teams. I think if you would have recruited McGuire when we did your positioning/performances would be very different.

Thaler showed how pathetically weak he is tonight. Wigan happily ignored his directives and he couldn't deal with it. The tackle on Moa looked dodgy to me it's rare you see a player single someone out like that after being injured.

Thats why were champions!!!!! and top of the league,in the semi final of the cc....thought you would have worked it out by now....................everybody............. the refs ...Video Refs.....the RFL.............. are all on our side ......absoulutley nothing to do with skill, fitness,coaching staff etc, etc

All the top teams seem to get away with infringements. Its because they play the ref as far as they can. We wont be moaning next year when we are doing it to them now will we.

I'm sure wigan fans will have a great season next year with a "highly regarded, up and coming, young British coach" in charge and quality signings like lauaki to replace inferior players like hoffman

I'm a massive believer in referee's unwittingly adapting or making allowances for either a team,or a player who constantly breaks the rules. wether it be tackling tecniques,running with your elbow raised,lifting your knees while carrying the ball or just general infringements. This is evident when you get certain players getting warning letters from the RFL or appearing in front of the disciplinary and they just carry on doing it till everyone either gets bored or just gives up. After a short while it becomes accepted as that person,or teams natural style. Most refs will only penalise someone so many times before they let it go. There is the odd exception but they're few and far between.

Firstly the Ref had no bearing on the game last night, Wigan did enough to win even though far from their best.

Now the Turner try viewing the replays there is no definitive shot that says Horne did touch the ball, so at worst it would have been given as benefit of the doubt.

Richards was passing the ball from in the tackle and Whiting gladly took the ball as it left Richards hand.
