Not looked like himself for a few weeks, obviously carrying an injury and it is having a detrimental effect on the team overall.

Bradford are really poor, dobbins are really poor and, unfortunately, so are we. All three of us will finish in the bottom half of the table but one of us will celebrate achieving the chance to lose at Leeds or Catalans !! WOOPPPEEEE !!!

Overall, same old story. Possession and the penalty count significantly in our favour, but we don't know how to open a defence. We just kept trying to smash through which just made it easier for the best defence in the league. Self-destruct ability still amongst the finest in the land, but we can at least make up for that with tactical masterstrokes like bringing on a winger for our hooker with 5 minutes left. O'Meley clearly more of a liability than an asset currently whether that's down to fitness or whatever else, but I doubt we'll even consider not playing him.

Bottom line is that when it comes to the good sides, we can give them a battle but not a scare. They may have to work for it, but ultimately they're going to win, no question. And I think that by and large they know that now. Did everyone see just how relaxed Maguire looked?

We've had a poor season, 11 new players joining a team and riddled with injury, yet we turned over Fartown last week in impressive style proving anyone can beat anyone on the day, that's what makes the play offs so exciting.

There is potentially an exciting scrap for the last play off place which happens to include two close rivals and hopefully us if we come away with anything this weekend. I do apologise if the thought of playing play off rugby does not excite you and you find my passion for the sport of Rugby League strange.

but I, and many other fans, cannot celebrate yet another season of finishing in the bottom half of the table and feeding on the scraps of the "top teams" which happen to be, on the whole, much smaller clubs than ours.

We are a grade A club with a grade B squad and a grade C (at best) coach.

Now that actually IS quite depressing.

But if our opposition's in the top 6, those days are incredibly rare. Seriously, look at just how bad our record in those games is and then see if you still think that comment applies to us.

Won an astonishing 1 game against teams in the top 8 all season !!



Now THAT is an achievement !!

It's a little condescending for a Bradford fan to be telliing Hull fans about passion for RL. I'm sure you didn't mean it like that but with commenting on other teams difficulties is always a sore subject. You don;t really have any idea what we are served up each week on and off the pitch and why the fans feel the way they do now.

We're working hard to improve that though. By Sunday night it might go up to 2.

Difference is Bradford employed a coach who can take a team to a Grand Final,- that creates optimism!!

I guess we just differ then mate, I would love to make the play offs and have a day out with knock out rugby, win or lose.

We've had our spell of success and now we're going through a re-building stage, it happens to all clubs and our time will come again. The same goes for you, your final piece of the puzzle will fall into place (new coach or a couple of new players) and you will have your glory years. The league is so tight now that nothing can be taken for granted and some of the big clubs are having to realise that they don't have a right to make play off rugby.

In the meantime I try not to be taken in by the all the doom and gloom (our board can be so depressing ) and just try and enjoy my rugby.

If it is you that makes the play offs then I wish you luck and hope your team surprises you.

It took me a while but I've just got it LOL !!

I didn't mean for it to sound like that and apologise if it did, I was just trying to explian why I would still look forward to making the play off. With all respect though, as we are below you in the table it's obvious we haven't been playing any better than you and we have had to sit through similar poor performances most weeks.

Well I believe we have but the jury is certainly still out with the Bulls fans, Potter has his fair share of critics already.

In parts, but not the way we expected. We thought he would sort the defense first of all and work from there, that doesn't seem to of happened as we have leaked a rediculous amount of points on average each game, our points difference is terrible.

A lot of our rugby has been up the centre and then we wonder why out forwards are shattered with 20 minutes to go. We rarely get the ball out to the wings, partly down to not having someone to lead us around the pitch and also a few players simply not being good enough. Against Fartown last week was the first time this season we have really thrown the ball around and it was great to see us stretching a defense and getting it out wide.

I still have confidence in him as a coach and it will be interesting to see what he can do next year.
