Well we wern't that far off 40 points anyway so if we had a play off position (or something) to fight for I think we'd have gotten 40/50 easily to be honest.

We could have won 66-6 like last year it still would have been a nothing game. I'd have enjoyed it better but it wouldn't have been an irrelevance to our play off position (unless Celtic magically beat Hudds so we can go for 4th). We could have afforded to lose 66-6 and it wouldn't have made any difference to us unless we repeated the same hefty defeat next week.

It was like when Hull came to the JJB last game of 2006. That game was an irrelvance to Hull 2nd place was already assured and you turned up to the JJB at full strength but put in a flat performance because both your fans and players were just waiting for the play off game to follow.

I can only comment on what I saw and I thought a few of them had the patience of saints but granted I didn't see everything as there was a match on.
I know there was one point were some kid stood talking to one of them trying to hug him and all sorts but the steward stood calmly asking him to retake his seat.
And to be fair, the whole group could have been thrown out after the bangs, I'm assuming it was a starting pistol.

To Bilko, it wasn't a dig about the Wigan fans, just an observation. It'd be a bad case of the pot calling the kettle black if a Hull fan had a pop about any teams home atmosphere. Plus that stupid drum can't help things at your end.

Our support was magnificent last night. What annoys me is the bloody disco tunes being blasted out at the end when we are trying to cheer the lads offthe pitch with a few songs. It's the same at the KC - wish they'd stop the music!

2. And you want the club to not play music at the end so the away team can sing a couple more songs? Maybe if you had a few more fans there, your players might be able to hear you over the music.
